  • @razaelielm You obviously don't understand the concept of a soft block. It's not always nesseccary to stop your opponent's motion.

  • i like his style of showing all the possibilities rather than focusing on 1 technique.

It shows that no technique is equal but actually each technique has an ideal situation to execute, and its up to you to find which opportunity opens up.

  • This guy is good, very good. I personally like this style.Although it is too soft,it has all the characteristics of combat art.

  • amazing video!!

especially if you understand a little Spanish ;)

thank you, I long for new videos

  • hahaahaaaaa secreto até inventarem o youtube hshhaha

bando de frangos , me dá nojo vê-los bancando os durões

    mma is really !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mate, why call this "secret" if everybody can watch it in youtube ??! Just that doesn't help to take you or this sensei seriously ... Does he really need this kind of advertising to have students ?

O Sensei already said : "If you want to improve, there is inner experience and training. Don't lust for secrets, there's no future in that." (Budo Renshu, 1933)

    - sorry for the poor translation, but here is the idea -

  • If you have never studied Aikido from a certified teacher you don't know what you are talking about - but thats OK.. such is true about any art.

  • The true secret of Aikido is endless training and deep dedication to the art.

  • @danil34 The true secret to Aikido is that it doesnt work in a real street fight. The other secret is that its a waste of time. If you have spent 10 years training in it spending many £1000's over the years and wasted much time. To prove your effectivenes. Go to any Muay Thai gym, MMA Gym, Boxing Gym and prob even a Karate gym. Go respectfully and say I hv trained bullshido for 10 yrs and wnt to test its effectiveness could I try this against an avg student trained 6 months pls let me know result

  • Also, if it's apparently crap and rubbish, then why are you spending time watching it and commenting on this video? Exactly.

  • You either comment positive, or don't comment at all. END OF!

  • Rudiger fui mi sensei en tenerife, el mejor sensei que he tenido en artes marciales, su forma de hablar y de transmitir la filosofia del aikido son increibles. Grande Rudiger! Domo arigato gozaimashita sensei. Gracias por todo jamas olvidare tus enseñanzas.

  • I dont think there is any "secret" way of teaching in Aikido. But whos right or wrong

  • can SOMEONE translate because not all of us understand it... It will just make it more INTERESTING, that's all!

  • Slow and calm, perfect teacher, Most teachers are too fast in speaking and movement so you learn nothing. This guy is a Master you can tell. Slow and calm, slow and calm...Like a Thai Chi teacher :D

  • @hookah777 yes it is, small joint locks are illegal

  • I was in a 3rd kyu ranking when i involved in a car accident few years ago. That guy walked out swearing at me & point a finger right up my face.I used only 2 techniques, that was iriminage & tenchinage.Few of the bystanders stop the fight when i was in the middle of doing tenchinage to him.He got bruises & cut on his face(i do not know how & when he got that), it happens to fast but i'm sure he didn't even touch me!Aikido really works, believe me!I'm going to 2nd dan this year.

  • Aikido is a martial art of self defense. What u learn in dojo is a variations of this art.U might not use everthing that u learned on the street.Few of this basic techniques r very useful but to master & understand it u need to learn variations of techniques(with patience) in this art & it takes 4-5 years to really used it on the street when it is needed.Whatever negative comments about it, i'm sure aikidoka will learn these:1)caution 2)distance 3)reflex 4)speed 5) stability & 6)timing.

  • @malamgeerqasim

Exactly my thoughts after watching aikido here on youtube.

And until someone proves me wrong I will refer to aikido as a lousy martial art.

But please prove me wrong. Nothing I've seen yet has

  • @hookah777 go attack a master of aikido then, because youll never be attacked by one, never.

  • @kapoof2

    Hopefully not.

And why would I wanna attact him??

  • ur talking about how u want proof, what better way than to attack him, its obvious an aikido master would never physically instigate a fight

  • @kapoof2

If someones been fighting for just a couple of years, no matter if they had any specific training, or just tumbling around, they would woop me in a sec.

But that has nothing to do with Aikido's effectivity.

So what would your suggestion prove.

Certainly not that Aikido is working.

I'd like to see Aikido in a pro fight, like fx MMA

  • @hookah777

    *attack

  • well the point of it dude is useing spirit power, which is more powerful than brute strength. but it is true, not many ppl can do aikido the way it is ment to be used

  • i apologize for everyones bad comments. i don't speak spanish, but i could see what he was trying to convey a minute into the clip even before i saw part too. i practiced aikido 12 yrs ago and will again one day. i practice serak or butkti negara an indonesian art that also attacks the balance and focuses on angle of attack and direction. And the beauty in comparing arts can make your understanding skyrocket. so the common denominator or secret is the angle of attack.

  • my spanish is very limited but the action speaks for itself. you captured the spirit of aikido for me. gracias. thank you sensei and to your uke.

  • graçias maestro
