I think that the Guitar part at the beggining needed to start on the first beat of the bar - Without the anacrusis, which would be working *with* the drum beat you set up, instead of being contrapuntal with it.

The Piano part seems off, also, because it doesn't seem Piano-y, to me personally, until the more complex parts - which could have just been quick broken chords // arpeggios. Hope this all helps!
