This game is so similar to uncharted series, and its weird it doesn't get any credit.. Graphics and controls are not that good but combat is more appealing to me.. Both games are great but uncharted is super famous and enslaved, well no one gives a shit about it... Ninja theory are good developpers in my book, and i have really no problem with them developing the DMC. In the same time capcom is really shitty lately.. I used to be a biiiig capcom fan but whatever they touch now becomes shit

@Hyde1415 i have uc 2 and 3 and esnlaved on xbox and even uc games are better enslaved is almost in the same league.. Offcourse the one is made by big exclusive developpers and the other is just a game that was made by a not so famous and not so promoted studio.. Its a hidden gem for me, esnlaved.. I have it for xbox and had few framerate problems (really few though) and the controls are not that great (uc's are not great either) but the game was a blast

I'm planning to purchase Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. I love the art direction and I appear to have become an advocate of under-rated, under-appreciated games such as Mirror's Edge, itself boasting a bold artistic flair. I've always been a sucker for a good story, too.

Can anyone recommend this game?

@elsewhereify You should buy this game. I really recommend this to you. I had this game for the xbox 360. But since some1 broke into our house and took my games + xbox 360 I am really sad :P But I finished the game and it was an amazing journey. I hope for a second Enslaved :D

@karaz68 I literally just played through it, and yes, it's great. There are a few repetitive in-game animations like when Monkey lifts things or finishes an enemy, and there isn't much variety in the way of actual combos you can do with the staff. That aside, I think you should give it a chance.

No, in all seriousness, this game is worth getting. I personally enjoyed it. The graphics and the story is beyond amazin. It is a Western idea of the Chinese novel, "Journey to the West." I recommend it to anyone who wants a good storytelling and loves a lot of action. Fun Fact: Monkey in Journey to the West has the same idea of Sun Wukong from the Chinese classic. Did you know Goku from Dragon Ball Z is from the same idea?

I played my friends copy of the game today, also the demo last week. Its fun but not worth 60 Buckers. Lots of good climbing and cinematic type sequences resemble uncharted, although its no where near that level. The graphics are enhh, i have Ps3 and 360, looks much better with no lag on 360, PS3 is washed out and laggy in lots of places. Wait for a price drop. But no it doesnt sucketh.

Aside from the fact that both games are third person, have great character models and are fairly colorful, Enslaved is nothing like Uncharted.

This is looking fantastic. Hopefully the combat will be a little easier to get to grips with than Heavenly Sword, and it would be great if it wasn't too linear, but other than that this is one of my most wanted games for the next few months.
