I must agree with carlosfvs. I love and admire Spain, a country with a glorious history and refined culture, but I cannot understand why this type of barbaric event is still allowed to continue. Tradition should not be an excuse. A tradition that involves inflicting harm to defenseless animals needs to be done away with. Slavery, the treatment of women as second-class citizens, the rape and pillage of the defeated, etc, were once deeply-entrenched traditions which have now been eliminated.
