  • @Pikachu4352

  • @poshbah Long Live Jim Henson!!!!

  • 2:19-2:26

i wonder if the train crashed through her door before because she said its always on time

  • @HoneyNutTheAlleyCat Possibly. I DO know they obviously used a model train set for that shot of the train speeding through the house.

  • @wileyk209zback

oh i knew that too im not stupid

  • @HoneyNutTheAlleyCat Well, I'm Not

  • @wileyk209zback That's Because They Used Blue Screen Effect

  • @cstoczyn I know; they basically just filmed the model train passing a blue-screen, then they composited it into the final shot

  • @wileyk209zback That's What I Said

  • @wileyk209zback

You should see the version I made with my Fraggle Rock puppets. That one has a clip of a train going by. And I mean the train part.

  • @HoneyNutTheAlleyCat Maybe it did one time; if there were tracks in that house, I bet they are those ones with the three rails (one in the center), and the black metal ties spaced far apart; I'm saying that because of how it's obvious that the 8:29 freight was an O-gauge model train (probably made by Lionel, if I'm not mistaken.) I think that same train was also used in the 1992 episode when Roxy Marie sets up a train set in the apartment.

  • I have a feeling Dirk will probably come back. It was the sounds that were getting to him and caused him to lose it. My guess is he'll soon find that he hasn't lost any of his affection for Dierdre.

  • This blue guy along with the lady and the two were in Kermit's classic song " In My Pond."

  • Dirk sound more like he's performed by Dave Goelz, doesn't he?

  • I see your point, but the part where Dirk yells "I have one more sound for you", that's Telly's voice all over.

  • The Fat Blue Anything Muppet sound like Baby Kermit from "Muppet Babies".

  • Yes, that clock was annoying, but I can't help wondering if Dierdre really had to toss it out.

  • Drew Carey is also on Power of 10 and Whose line is it anyway

  • Aww I loved this I remember it so well. I love it so much.

  • Ok I see. Does he say help control the pet population like Bob did? Do they give furs or animal made products They use to din,t do that be cause of BoB too.

  • Oh my God, he DOES look like Drew Carey to me. BTW, love the jackhammer sound and title shanking at the end. Great post.

  • I meant shaking.

  • That train at 02:11 obviously appears to be a model train set superimposed on a greenscreen... maybe it's a Lionel train?

  • are these recurring segments or is this the only Sounds-of-our-lives there is?

  • The only one there is, I'm afraid. But what if it was ever a recurring segment?

  • It would never work. It would just be too annoying.

  • Poor Dierdre. And poor Dirk! No wonder he's pissed.

  • that blue guy does look like Drew Carey
