The truth is to be found in the science. Don't listen to whatever ideological side makes a claim, just look at the science. The science is very clear -- human beings are changing the climate and that will cause serious changes.
Science has worked the problem and come up with the answer -- ask deniers to come up with evidence just as good and they just produce excuses.
Something isn't true just because you repeat it a lot -- what matters is evidence and facts, which science has provided.

But, you are taking things out of context. Increases in ice levels DO NOT equate to less global warming. In fact, IN THE SHORT TERM increased ice is to be expected in places because AGW will produce MORE precipitation and thus more ice creation. However, the long term is a general thinning trend.
Remember -- don't confuse weather with climate and don't think all effects are linear
