Windows user interface, icons windows transitions and window borders are just UGLY, even if you use window blinds object dock xy-shadow or some packages like FlyakiteOSX windows will look fake and still ugly, I think the best option is to get a mac

I run Photoshop and Sonar5, and I got a lof of delay processing in Vista with a Intel Centrino Duo 1.8Mhz with 1GB RAm.

When using XP I have around 800mb free of RAM.

Aside of that, Vista have an awful security system.

Maybe you only use Vista for play and use MSN, but trust me, people who actually REALLY use computers needs something better than vista (XP or Mac)

Actually allot of features in vista came from a windows code named longhorn of which started to apair in 2001, it had things like gadgets and see through windows and this was before OSX - now whos doing the copying? Well you can't copywrite an idea, a word, a phrase atleast not in England, you can only copywrite something like the yahoo! graphic. My 2 installs of xp and 1 install of vista x64 are very stable cos I did my research. I use one xp purely as a pro audio workstation and it can go a whole 8 hours with 95%cpu and 1.6gigs used ram without a glitch. I know macs used to be better for music now allot of hard/software like my state-of-the-art EMU 1616 pci soundcard is PC only.

If you want best windows,simply buy an apple computer and install windows and linux. Windows in other pcs hang or crash easily. Files stored in an apple computer have which I call "shells" that keep files from affecting other files. That means a program hanged on an apple computer will not affect other programs in the computer.

Well, statistically everything is better than Windows. Windows has one bad thing after another, Linux and OS X have far less bad things and more good things. The market doesn't reflect this because a) Microsoft lies and tells companies that Linux and Mac OS X aren't more secure and infact are far less secure, and b) It's easier to go out and buy a Windows computer than a Mac or Linux-based computer.
