It really doesn't matter if this is the fastest folk dance in the world. Irish hard-shoe is pretty quick as are many Greek dances as well. The Russian and Ukrainian dances are really fast and many Native American dances are very fast. Regardless of the speed of the dance, if a particular folk dance tells a story (which most do), the story is the beauty. This video tells a story, beautifully.

They are not professionals and they just do this for fun. Lezginka is more like a sport. I think you have to be a gymnast or a ballet professional to do that crazy figures.
