  • Awesome video Thanks for the Info. Nicely well put. LOL:))

  • @ABoricuaLife

Thank you happy you liked them =)

  • i just bought my acrylic kit like 4 days ago:) and im super exited! i been watching so many videos so i can practice and know what to do! but your's is so far the best one:) specally because im a beginner,:D thank you so much!

    i have a quick question ..

i bought tons of glitters so i can do my nails different colors, but can i use them by it self like just stick them to the nail or do i have to mix them with powder ? or can i do both?

if so which method do you think its best??:D thanks

  • @genilicious7

Glad to hear that Im very happy the videos are helpful thank you

you can do it both ways I prefer the mixing method because its faster and its not messy like it would be if you were to stick the glitter to your nails you would have alot of loose glitter even if you try to do it carefully and it takes more time hope this helps you out =)

  • girl u r the shit!!! and thanks to u and ur video im the shit too!!!!

  • @brinmyia

lol Thank you I appreciate it =)

  • I went to Sally's and found a kit with just about everything I needed for $16.99 and it wasn't the quick dip. I also bought a brush, a dish, and some new file so my total was $31. Thanks to your videos I wasn't completely in the dark with the directions the kit came with. My nails came out good considering my first time. Thanks again for the thorough videos!

  • @playgurlxtm

Good to hear Im happy they turned out good im really glad I could help hehe =)

  • @iCimorelli4Life

aww thank you means alot maybe someday haha =)

  • Thank you so much for your videos!!! I've been wanting to do my own nails for a while, I felt like I've been to the salon enough that I was able to do it myself for less. I kept finding videos that had the quick dip acrylic. Even tho it looked easier I wanted my nails to be legit. So I'm going to go to Sally's n get everything I need.. Wish me luck =)

  • @playgurlxtm

Well im glad you find these videos helpful than you

and I wish you luck =)

  • I was wondering do you have to file your nail every time you apply a new layer of acrylic powder? thanks :)

  • @susammie

no you first encapsulate your nail with acrylic and once your done let it dry and than when your ready file & shape your nails to your desire look hope this helps =)

  • Great information and extremely helpful! Thanx for taking the time to show us newbies how to do our acrylics!!! I feel a lot more confident that I can do them just right because of your videos. :)

  • @squirrel91557

Thank you im glad they were helpful thanks 4 watching =)

  • I really enjoyed your tutorial. i have done my own a few times and they turn out ok. My biggest problem is that i end up having lumps in the acrylic. That and they only last a week and they are popping off. i just got a uv lamp and an electric file. Cant wait to see if that helps. If it does, im thinking im going to try to do other peoples nails. Only one question for you. I noticed you said you've been doing this for 2 1/2 years, has it paid well so far? My Email is starangel_172003@yahoo.com

  • @hvacrtechnelson

sorry 4 the late reply but thank you 4 watching the videos im really glad they were helpful & about your question well its now been about 4years in a half that I have been doing my nails cuz this video was a while back haha but its paid off really well I try to practice everytime I have a chance cuz I really sucked when I first started hehe but so far its been going good and Im glad I do my own nails now haha but anyways hope this helps and remember dont give up practice =)

  • Hey, thanks for the awesome video, can't wait to try doing acrylic nail myself! You've helped so much! Just one question, once you've put the acrylic on adn smoothed it out with the brush, how long does it take to dry so you can start filing it? Once again, thanks for the great vid!

  • @vi666ka

thanks im glad you found the videos helpful thank you =)

and it only takes a couple of seconds for the acrylic to dry tap it if they are hard than they are ready to be filed hope this helps =)

  • So you dont need a uv lamp for acrylics? Without the lamp how long will it take for the nail to set?

  • @cheeseysmile15

No you dont need a uv lamp you only need one if you have a uv top coat and your nails dry on their own in seconds hope this helps & sorry 4 the late reply =)

  • yes real helpful video and i think that however we do our nails it's ok as long as we use the right tools and products and hey why not getting some new tips to improve our skills because personally i will never go and have someone do my nails it's horrible because 1st they charge you a lot last time i spent 40 dls on basic regular nails and 2nd i got lots of cuts in my fingers because of the machine that they use like this it's better and cheaper because you do it many times as you want

  • @lamadrina1000

im happy the video was helpful thank you 4 watching and yes totally agree with you its one of many reasons why I started doing my own hehe =)

  • Thank u for all the help

  • Why do you have to form and buff the nail after applying the acrylic? :/

  • @EtherealEminence

sometimes when your done applying your acrylic you might have a couple of bumps or extra acrylic on the side so you would give your nails a form and remove any extra that you might have but if you apply them correctly you wouldnt need to file so much and you would buff your nails to remove the lines left from the nail file and it would smooth your nail so its ready for your top coat especially if you dont have a uv top coat hope it helps =)

  • thnk yooooooooooouuuuuuuuuu

  • this video is awesome, i followed these steps and my friend's nails turned out perfect!

    thanks!

    <3 Laura

  • @analcleavage

Thank you glad it was helpful =)

  • so do the acrylics dry by themselves? or do they need the special uv lamp to dry? or is the top coat jel thing the only thing that needs that uv lamp? thankyou, nice video :)

  • @anonymousgirlx22

yes they dry on their own it only takes seconds once you see they are hard than they are ready hehe and yes you only a uv lamp if you are using a uv top coat

and thanks 4 watching sorry 4 the late reply =)

  • oh nevermind lol i saw your FAQ video. but id like to know what kind of glue do you use for the nails?

  • i dont have a filing machine,can i use a buffer instead?

  • @Chiche96

you can use a nail file to file your nails the buffer wont do much hope it helps =)

  • @Tatiana92331 only a min or so.If you're unsure of whether or not it's dry, tap it with an orange stick or toothpick, when it's dry it clicks. :)

  • Hi first of all I want to say thank you for sharing your beautiful work. You are very talented. I just started doing my nails and I'm running into a couple of problems:

    1. all of them lift around the cuticle area

    2. they are bumpy...like if I don't put enough acrylic on one side...I guess the word is uneven.

Can you please shed some light.....thank you!

  • I was just wondering, do you happen to live in Lincoln Nebraska, if not you should move here. I need someone that does nails as good as you and takes their time like you and don't cut up my fingers. I have been to many places and they all do it.

  • Hey There, I have 2 questions, I did my nails and a few days later, i experienced lifting,. One is it because i didn't use a primer?, and two could it be the acrylic? I used the kiss acrylic.. I want to be able to do it and get it right,. I had to take them all off after a few days, so if you can help me, I greatly appreciate it..

  • @rottengummy

im not sure of your question but i think u are asking if i think acrylic nails better than gel nail as moneys worth was that your question sorry im a little slow haha

  • @SickestNails its doesnt matter know coz i got the acrylic nails but thanks

  • What if you want to do the "buff shine" version?

  • Another question...I did my first nail..using your video as a guide.. :) The nail has what looks like white clouds in it...I'm not sure but I think it might be from my acrylic powder..it stays sort of powdery..Any suggestions on what I can do in the future to prevent this?

  • @aaysmommy

ok i think i know what u mean try using more liquid and before u apply your bead of acrylic see that the ball is wet and that it doesnt have any powder still dry hope that helps u out

  • @SickestNails Thank you! I'll try. :) ..Thanks a bunch for the help.
