there is only firefight internet on odst and u can do it in splitscreen. But u get halo 3 complete multiplayer with odst and all the map packs free. But halo reach has brand new multiplayer so may 3rd theres a beta coming so its awsom better chek it out. Invitation included with odst!!!

@skaterguitarfreak7 there are a lot of differences. The multiplayer is totally different, there is no matchmaking, so if you want to play online, you have to play with your friends. Firefight is similar to Horde on Gears of War, just endless enemies. In the campiagn, you aren't Master Chief, you are a squad of ODST's, so there are lots of different stories in one big one :)

BUT: The firefight is absolutely awesome... Definitely not worth the 60 bucks though. Should be priced at 30 as an add-on cause that's what it is...

And COD has a totally different play style... Odst and COD are both great games.

ODST has firefight and that its basically it for online play. But the game, has halo 3 basically with 3 more maps, AND if u hold on to ODST the NEW HALO: REACH BETA will become downloadable eventually. HALO; REACH BETA is basically a whole new online matchmaking system and another campian to add to the seris.

ODST does have matchmaking on the second disc as well as forge and everything you get in normal halo 3 (excluding the coop main game). It's called halo 3: Mythic and you can use to play againest people with the normal halo 3. It's not that odst doesn't have matchmaking it's that its the same one as halo 3
