Were you moving to a rhythm? If not, try synching with a good techno track.
ooh!- try light sticks (or pods) on strings!
Another good trick- set the camera's white balance to pick up only the ambient lighting, not you. It looks cool, and you can probably switch to [auto white-balance] half-way through to get different perspective. idk, I just liek sparkliez!!
