She needs to relax and strip it down make it as simple as possible which will inturn make the song more effective. The hand postures an unnecessary, those are habits, not style. There is a Difference!
I'm not dissing the performance, i'm just saying she needs to make it more believable. NOT only 'well-practiced' people can do that, MANY others can.

I am so amazed how Li with the man voice here won the Chinese idol, but Jane with the beautiful voice and great rendition came in only 3rd! But I think Jane is a much bigger star now, isn't she? Could someone from mainland China confirm this?

Nodoubt that she got a good voice, but I prefer her not lifting her voice at the end of each phrase.
Li sounds so manly, somehow, I prefer Zhou Bi Chang, she sings more steadily.

from this video u can see that Jane acted way more better than Li did. And she totally covered the sparkle of Li's in the second part of this video.
She is a much greater star now than any other girls in the competition.
