  • my country sux. i want to live in Norway or iceland or Ireland

  • Living in Norway or Alaska can screw your natural time in the head.

  • I live in Norway. And right now, I really wish this was the case. Winter sucks.

  • this would suck

  • subhanallah

  • Where was this taken at??

  • "That shit cray. Ain't it Jay?"

  • Hi Siwilks this is really an educative video. thanks for sharing this rich and rare phenomenon for people not very lucky to experience it. some day i hope to visit the land of the midnight sun.

  • This video would be a lot cooler if it didn't keep looping and playing the same footage after 25 seconds. I feel ripped off.

  • I was in Kiruna in northern Sweden this summer in July and was able to see the midnight sun. It was fantastic!

  • Dope..

  • How do muslims pray in such a land? Hasn't Allah thought of that when he determined their hours of prayer?

  • @Iranazizman they follow the prayers of the country closest to them, who do have a sunset

  • What is the explanation for the regularity in the appearance of clouds only when the sun is going down?

  • @marcusvfg wind patterns!

  • @marcusvfg They looped the video, so you're just seeing the same 24 hours of weather over and over again.

  • سبحان الله أحسن الخالقين

نحنا ربي طرحنا في الجزيرة العربية ولا نتفكر في مخلوقات الله

    سبحان الله ما أعظمه

  • is gandalf talking

  • did anyone see that comet at 0:19 ?

  • Comment removed

  • @latinoheat300 You can still experience polar night! No sun all day long.

  • it keeps getting close the the horizon every time but then is like SIKE and rises again lol

  • this wreaks absolute havoc on your sleep! We are finally getting "nights" again up here.

  • سبحان الله

  • ovo je prejebeno zakon volio bih to vidjeti tamo a ne na ekranu

  • Id be up like, all day. 24 hours.

  • Its really funny to see sun in the midnight

  • sun, go down...dammit! :)

  • That would be so cool to see the midnight sun. Those who are indifferent, don't ponder enough in life

  • i live in Murmansk. fucking sun always lights on my eyes and i cant dream untill winter =)

  • Espetacular, Flavio, Recife, Brasil

  • Sun's busted.

  • slnko si zabil

  • THE SUN IS COMING FOR YOU! RUN MARIO RUN!

  • @jamaalfridge ha ha awesome!

  • This is beyond words. Wow!

The music for this video makes this feel as if it is a panoramic scanning of an alien landscape. It's almost creepy.

  • That's amazing!!!

  • That's so amazing, but it would completely throw me off whack...

  • Every time the sun almost sets on the horizon I yell 'syke' at the computer screen.

  • @Ingestedbanjo Ahahahahaha! Brilliance.

  • Excellent video. Question. If you're a little south of the artic circle can you see daylight north but it be dark right above you?

  • @res340 Maybe this answer is a bit late, but your question made me smile. It was such a sweet thought! But no, just south of the arctic circle it would be pretty much the same, although the sun would reach the horizon and go below it for a small period of time, maybe just for minutes. But the further away you get from the arctic circle, the longer the sun would stay below the horizon. Then if you're quite far away, the night and day would look "normal", and it would be dark during the night.

  • @Rubystein Thanks for the response. I did find out my answer while watching Alaska State Troopers.

  • if it really happened i would be awake for a long time

  • @kernyui45 it does really happen... :-)

  • this is like amazing and creepy at the same time lol

  • Never seen that before thats wonderful !

  • i'd get tired of seeing the sun after a while.

  • Beautiful.

  • Before I went to Alaska I thought the midnight sun was a myth or something and boy was I wrong. It only went down for about 2 or 3 hours. The darkest point was twilight at best.

  • When you live close to Ecuador parallel, it's hard to imagine somethig like that. Thanks for the video I have always wanted to see this.

  • Beautiful. What was setup for record this video?

  • I have always wanted to see that in time lapse.. Great stuff!

  • That sounds like Patrick Stewart narrating.

  • where did you film this? I need to know for my powerpoint project

  • that's great, the sun is bouncing on the horizon...In june I'm going to Lapland to see that...I just can't wait!!!

  • where is this place ?

  • I want to see the midnight sun sometime in my life

  • @fassman316 Trust me, it's not that great. It's different, it's weird, it takes some getting used to, and heavy blinds, but I wouldn't go out of my just for that reason alone.

  • @fassman316 The best view is from Nordkapp, this is the north tip of Norway. It is absolutely overwhelming.... highly reccomended. Visible for 10 days after 21st June

  • @fassman316 then look at the webcam on south pole on neuhauser weather station. They have several hours a day of sun now while it should be night thill september.. Close enough? :)

  • @fassman316 what's the midnight sun?

  • @1896Ernbla you can't read? there's a full desription in the more info section

  • Very nice.

  • awesome!!
