  • What I never understood about the movie was how in the opening, the soldiers don't take cover. They stand open and wide and you constantly see ones in the background go down. If they did that every battle, there'd be only one or two left.

  • @polkanator i think in the movie it was due to how the "soldiers" were trained and conditioned, superior reflexes etc etc, (in comparison to the other soldiers, which were indicated to be normal rank and file infantry.) besides from that scewne it seemed liked they surprised those guys before they could think to react properly : /

  • 60 minutes for 15 miles,,= running from Bailys cross rds to fairfax circle,.

  • @thorshammer1348 Thats crazy, thats like a 4 minute mile, 15 times!

  • i dont care how super soldier u are no one can maintain 99 percent accuracy on full auto

  • @havik206 yep that why ha was not a SOLDIER

  • @havik206 there on all sorts of drugs aswell to keep them super focused it could work if all you are is a soldier would be a pretty boring life though

  • 600+ push-ups a day

  • This movie is good to remind you of the meaning of "soldier": expendable.

  • Attack of the super Asian

  • 4 min miles for 15 miles!

  • @wrestleme666 Good math buddy - I wouldn't have figured that out

  • Wanna bomb a country we do what we told and shut the fuck up..

  • @bsim2011 your absolutely right man.. But I think your not getting the point or the big picture.. We as soldiers are always in a contest between 2 commanders.. Not military tho.. But presidents.. We had a president start a war because they tried to kill his father.. ( bush) and what happen.. A lot of our friends comrades died because 2 men didn't get along. At the end we are all tools of the government I know I was a soldier and now I'm border patrol.. So any time our commander in chief says I

  • don't the solders ever blink?

i mean, serously, everytime I see them, they won't blink.

    :)

  • @lcrs50 cause they are pinging off their dials shows what they take at the end of movie when they fight

  • Good action movie, but not based on the realities of human nature. Having been a Marine, not even the most toughest training will turn men into blindly obedient robots. They will always have their own personalities, and would not be so willing to die in a stupid pissing contest between two oficers.

  • @bsim2011 not if they never had a chance to develop feelings..hence why they were trained from when they a baby

  • Wars are won by deception techniques, physical strength, numbers and weapons play little part. Always have always will.

  • @VERGIS92 Not always true weapons and numbers always play there part. Genghis Khan forged an empire over twice the size of Alexander the great, 4 times the size of the roman empire because of the arrow. British took bunker hill during the American revolution because they had more men then American troops had ammo. LZ X-Ray back in vietnam 395 troops held off an army of 5000 north vietnamese soldiers because of superior firepower mortors rockets, howitzers bombers. Never doubt numbers or weapons

  • @Luingurth A man who knows he will will will no fight as hard as a man who knows he has to win that is what makes the diffrence.

"If you want it you will get it "

  • @Luingurth There are cases where new weapons prevail, the city of Istanbull fell to the Turks because they had gun powder cannons, the Byzantines had relaxed too much about defense and were taken by surprise. But if their military had done their job and had gathered intelligence, they could have used another plan and fight the Turks before they got too close.

  • In WW2 my country defeated a modern big Italian Navy using ww1 era subs, just by hiding next to a wrecked ship the submarine became invisible, the Italians were detecting the same sonar signal indicating an old wreck that was already there before the battle. Just by knowing where to hide after the attack, the WW1 subs always escaped. To win a war, you need to gather a lot of intelligence, and be deceptive. All enemies have weak spots.

  • They died virgins. HA!

  • One part most people dont notice is at 6:13 the two soldiers break discipline and look over to the left to see what happened. These guys are the most highly trained and highly disciplined soldiers ever, but because their Sgt and friend was hurt/killed, they broke discipline to look over at him. Might seem like a small thing, but to the soldiers discipline is everything.

  • @labartic yup i also noticed that..I would too if i fought that many wars with the same men ..and id take it tot he next level and get down right emotional ..even with all that discipline.

  • @RemusRomulas the epicness of this movie is not widely known. Kurt Russel Nailed it.

  • il take battle tested proven hardass veterans over steroid and other drug pumped freaks anyday. its jus like erisi236 sed u cant breed decades of irreplaceable combat experience

  • I love how no one can salute correctly in this movie.

  • These people woluld have probualy turned on their comanders by now. A person simply could not live their entire live as a robot. If this were real, they would have some pretty seriouse resentment towards their comanders, would they?

  • Good stuff

  • See thats why our gov't doesn't give our military the best gear, when we talks about how expensive he is, we have gear that are high tech bullet proof stuff, but each one cost about $12,000, not cheap to mass produce,

  • when i read the halo's plot for first time, this movie was the first thing i thought to compare it

  • Comment removed

  • i wish our marines where like thoues guies

  • Old Soldiers vs New Soldiers.

    Veterans vs Rookies.

These new rookies are making the veterans look bad..no matter how young or fast even stronger...these nothing better to have the veterans to on the front lines they have much better experience in combat then the colonel's super DNA Test Tubes Badies soldiers.

    4:39

This is the battle of the finest with todd and kane

this fight was only a warm up....But the next time will be the real fight is yet to come..

  • @wildmann23 true, you can outperform that shit outta someone in various PT and simulated bs exercises but in the real shit, experience will triumph 9 outta 10 times!

  • @wildmann23 HOOYAH!!, I'm in NROTC right now, and a lot of my fellow midshipmen, think their hot shots, who can't wait to take command, they asked us who will we listen to our first command, almost all said officer above them, I said the Chef, he has over 20 years of experience, he knows how gets stuff down.

  • A few things to note here about 607. First off, he ran 15 miles at 4 min. a mile (at the slowest), did it in boots and cammie bottoms, (NOT tennis shoes and jogging shorts)- heavier and harder to run in-, still had the strength to fly up the chain with just his arms(no legs), AND destroyed 3 men in one go. That's beyond impressive

(granted this is just a movie and not real, but damn...)

And Sgt. Todd was at least 40, and held his own respectively.

THE best scene in the movie for me

  • None of the soldiers in the formation do watch the show...

  • I wonder if they ever let those soldiers get laid. Or if they ever did. Good movie though. Underrated.

  • @kzfive

they wouldn't it's the one of the weaknesses male soldiers have.

  • May be strong as a T-Rex but also have its brain capacity.

  • Now here is something I would like to see the military do....

"Okay men, you can forget about the wussy paper targets, we're gonna shoot at BIG IRON BALLS!!!"

    LOL

  • the running scene makes me wanna work out

  • Why not just take the guy all at once?

  • You know how sad it is at how closely this movie resembles to real life?? Are we not training our soldiers to kill in cold blood, right now?

  • @thi711 There is no other way for a soldier to kill... As far as genetic enhancement, that might be coming along fairly soon, but even today soldiers are trained to kill with precision and without hesitation. An army full of empathetic, second-guessers would be no army at all.

  • @SGTBizarro Trained soldiers are all very well but lets look at history. The Huns, Mongols, Soviets, Vietnamese, Yugoslavian s, Iraqis, Afghans all managed to either bring down some of the mightiest empires and country's the world has ever seen or made it a difficult fight for their opposition. And they did it with people who had no little or no training. And you dont want an army that will obey every order otherwise you end up with the Wehrmacht and the "just following orders" excuse.

  • @wilsonnortheast Yes I see your point, and it is a good one. That's where the concept of the "unlawful order" comes in. If the order violates principle (ie rights under Geneva convention) then the soldier is free to refuse it and report the superior.

  • U r making a good point SGTBizzaro but forgeting an inportant factor, all of these nations that u described were deffending armies on their ground.Im also comming from ex Yugoslavia and partizans held up 19 germans divisions. The only nation that liberate themselves without alies interveene. The deffending spirit, every child, man and woman fought for their homeland.Very inportant factor!!!I fought yugoslav peoples army in serbo-croatian war and we won.Again,defenders.i was trained to think, not obey

  • @thi711 That reminds me, I need to go play Call of Duty

  • whoa, he ran 15 miles in an hour

  • So he can run faster then him...big deal.

  • What an asshole.

  • Jason Isaacs FTW!.

  • These guys must've drank some "Power Thirst"

  • haha, classic line there at the end

  • favorite movie of all time

  • haha i just realized the running part is through my old school, the freight depot for Southern California Institute of Architecture

  • 15 miles, and he has 60 minutes to cover it. That's running 15 mph for one hour. I don't think even today's olympians could do that.

  • Isn't it a little weird that the black guy (riley I think) looks sort of sad when Todd apparently dies. I thought these soldiers weren't supposed to be emotional.

  • @snakeater619 they were essentially brainwashed not tto show it, that doesnt mean that it wouldnt show at times, but they still near mindlessly obey orders

  • @snakeater619 well if you look in the beginning of the film they been fighting working and living together since they were babies so i think even brainwashed people will feel something

  • @snakeater619 - the soldier's emotions were suppressed. But they were still present were under the surface. A lot of the movie is about the character development of Todd once he gets past his ego crisis wherein he is forced to live as an individual and deal with normal human beings.

  • i jack off to this

  • your not alone lol...

  • in reality, you'd have to admire the old soldiers spirit and determination, even if it was forced into his brain. Free will is still evident.

  • Lol at the asian dude catchin up with him in less than 30 seconds BULLSHIT

  • What is the point this movie is trying to make?

"Only kidnapped babies make good all-American supersoldiers, only villains breed them"?

  • wow, fail? did you watch the whole movie?

  • I dont think they kidnap newborns in the world of Solider. They probably gather and collect the children of unwanted pregnancies. Instead of having them pile up in the care of the state and have them put a stranglehold on an already weakened welfare system only to have them grow up to lives filled with nothing but crime and drugs and violence, they give them purpose and meaning by making them soldiers. Highly trained men and women that defend our country.

  • @clericjack i don't think so, I think it was eugenics

  • @clericjack - Of course, the fascist "Soldier" government kidnaps babies. There isn't such a surplus of babies. They just draft them a bit earlier than 18.

  • @lacedemonians lol how do you figure they kidnapped them, seemed at the beginning of this movie, while they were in a maternity wing, im thinking its probably where all the unwanted infants are, i mean why let all unwanted pregnancies go to waste in an underfunded state run orphanage when you can select a few to be molded into superior soldiers

  • @mlarosa25 - did you see the look on the woman doctor's face when the recruiters came looking for babies? She was obviously distressed. Besides, the military would want top-of-the-line babies for such an expensive ambitious project of raising children to become soldiers.

  • @lacedemonians firstly any nurse with any kind of conscience would be horrified, especially if they knew full what what the millitary was intending to do with said children, also the millitary would look to save on cost, eugenics more expensive, and its alot easier to brainwash children, though the new batch of soldiers was more or less developed along those lines

  • Where did they find these actors I wonder...

  • @richardcadbury

    yo moma

  • I see. That explains my appearance, I suppose.

  • Great upload. Would be nice if Kurt Russell and Jeff Bridges made Face Off 2. They almost look alike.

  • This part is the best part of the whole movie.

  • american on the floor 3:33

  • Great !

  • i liked how this movie started, but it just turned out to be a really slow and underwhelming movie

  • damn at 0:17 look at the weights the guy is working out his triceps..:)

  • @XxiLpaZzoXx serious heavy shit for his triceps xD

  • @XxiLpaZzoXx prolly 60kg+ bar for his triceps... damnnnn

  • 5:14 - 5:30 Hey! They're talking when they're not supposed to!

  • how do u kno tat

  • Mowgli !!!!! thats how he climbed that chain, He Mowglied that shit

  • He was Bruce Lee too

  • ahhhh i was wondering where i knew that face from... it looks fatter in this though...must be the baldness.

this woulda made the man himself proud!

  • @SUPAVEGETAMAN

He was almost better than Bruce Lee himself.

  • @wozler Had a couple of guys who could do that, massive upper body strength.

  • @wozler He Mowglied that shit...I'm going to find every possible way to use that in a sentence now lol

  • i HATE that new commader guy thingy person!!!!

  • thanks for uploading.

  • Love the movie, but it seems pretty silly to throw away the veterans. Even if the new ones are stronger and such, the old ones have decades of combat experience, you can't bred that.

That fact comes back to bite them in the ass. =)

  • the old ones don't get retirement benefits.

  • i think because know one knows about them, something like this would be about top secret, you know off the books aka black opps

  • Good freaking point dude. But when a kid gets a new toy, he gotta play with it right? lol.

  • @southoreast

    like his penis :)

  • Dude, what the hell are you talkin about?

  • @erisi236 That's pretty much the message of the film!

  • @erisi236 That's pretty much the message of the film! Age and experience win over youth.

  • @erisi236

they don't actually throw them away they put them in reserve Todd and the ones on the chains were presumed dead and were disposed of unfortunately for that bitch of a colonel Todd wasn't dead

  • instead of abruptly replacing the veterans why not train them for civilian jobs? their mental and physical discipline could be useful if properly applied.

  • because they are trained for nothing but battle and will reply to agression with further agression

  • @clgreene100 At this point there's no return in their mindframe... Althought little changes could be made, they are way to conditioned by their training, and experiences...

  • Gary Busey, he da man :)

  • You gotta love Jason Issacs as a villain/asshole. For he plays them very well.

  • why does the bad guy have to be a Brit lol whats wrong hollywood ran out of Russian actors to play the asshole have we.. although to be fair the guy who directed this movie is British so kinda ate my own argument there haha

  • too bad better didn't mean smarter.!! go soldier. I love kurt!!

  • hey thanks for uploading.

  • harsh

  • note he said he had 60 minutes. caine might have run it faster.

  • nah I could of ran that in that time no problems easy! lol

  • LMAO! 15 miles in an hour and not even sweating no less! I think the world record for the 15 mile is something like an hour and 15 minutes and he was as skinny as a rail not like muscleman Caine.

  • @Swordsman808

Yeah, 4 minute miles...15 of them, yikes. I'm a runner too so I understand how aggressive that would be. But lets just watch and enjoy it for what it is.

  • This is a great future Military War movie.

  • As a former US Marine I ask: what would be the sense in wasting the life of a soldier that you trained since birth just for a combat demonstration? And whay would a soldier fight for someone who would piss their life away for nothing? REAL PEOPLE DO NOT DO THAT!

There is a lot of things in this movie that are cliches but are not practical in real life.

  • Thats why its a movie, not real life. And after all its in the future, who knows what people are going to be like in the future.

  • You are a first class, grade A moron! I highly suggest you learn how to spell, and maybe get some form of education. I read what you wrote twice and it doesn't make any sense at all!

  • i don't know...to me, people who can't spell "was" properly shouldn't really be educating anyone.

  • dam US Marine !

it is a fucked up the ass future and the government is not the US so they can be very fucked up

  • Comment removed

  • @Simmm45 well the government does things that just doesn't make sense and it seems that having a selected population of men to do the dirty work is easy

  • @Simmm45 - some military officers have a corporate mentality. Sure, it makes no sense to waste combat veterans. Unless, you are an egotistical cold-blooded a-hole officer with something to prove.

  • first of all : i am girl so i cannot fuck my mom, second of all u r thinking the way a idiot can think so i am not going to continue this argue with u. grow up

  • who told you to fuck your mum ???? ..... you want me to sort them out for you ;) aha jokesz :) x

  • "Your men are obsolete". Damm, that line is awesome!

  • it's better when todd says it in the end to that pussy ass officer :D

  • @Scryeus

yeah i love how in the end though Todd kills everyone of his so called advanced super soldiers, he may be obsolete but nhe has experience, and is battle smart, those clones cannot think for themselves so therefore they are outmatched.

  • thnx for uploading!
