I am thankful that this has occurred in my lifetime. Many of us are searching for a spiritual practice other than anything that comes from the West. Dharma Sangha has renewed and has given me faith again, different from the christianities I come from but also very great and incredible..D. Alexandr D'Maddalena
A spiritually advanced practitioner who has come into this current life with pure karma but who still has some way to go as he knows in his own heart. Due to his very developed 'inner fire' Tummo practice he conserves energy and rarely requires fluids/food. However he does drink every so often. (!!) Take care not to become too credulous. The Buddha taught us to test everything from personal experience. Others around him are distracting themselves from what they need to do.
I thought Tumo was the technique of withstanding subzero temperatures generating heat with your body but not a general meditation technique to be without water, food, and in horrible weather conditions.
Poor kid, he never called himself a Buddha. He never asked for these dipshit acolyte surrounding him, making up lies about snake bites and 10-month periods without food/water. The kid never claimed that. Assholes hoping to cash in on his peculiarity are the only ones doing that.
The very mere act of wanting to be closer to your source, or alike, like you source is spirituality. These westerners and their state of investigating is wht the world has inherited. Wether the boy is real or not, its his problem. Wht the family is doing is their problem, and wht the HUNGRY people around him are doing, tht is their problem. He is in his reality, and that is where he should be left...
ohhhhh lol i never fully knew why temperature went so high wen i wud want to astral project or wen i wud meditate and picture the sun pouring power over me....its pretty interesting...
i guarantee that the boy admits to drinking and eating because the Buddha did not teach to fast as such. People are just saying that he is not for commercial effect and Ram really doesn't give a shit. He is meditating and drinks when he is thirsty and eats when hes hungry. If he does this it does not mean he is a scam.
@UpForDanceroid While I appreciate the sentiment that we all stop working against each other, how wise is it to sum up people by region like this? Isn't it truly wise to see that we all suffer the same, we all think and worry the same; thought, concsiousness and pain operate identically in all ours lives, whether East or West, North or South. Also, where do conclusions fit with truth? Truth is alive in the present moment, a conclusion is of the past, dead. Right?
When are people going to realise that we are not a humans having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual being having a human experience.. Its time to start waking up!
which one would you consider the 'adult' in this scenario? the boy living off of prana or the idiotic scholars trying to figure out what he is doing... its like big fat caterpillars trying to figure out why a younger one has entered a crystalis. hes trying to get his wings...
The historical Buddha said he would not reincarnate, so Ram Bahadur can be Buddha's reincarnation. However, some enlightened beings choose not to leave the Samsara (the cycle of reincarnations) to help others to reach the Nirvana. They're called Boddhisattvas. This boy is probably a reincarned Boddhisattvas.
If one wants to cure a snake bite, one ought not be preoccupied with other matters but mentally help the body-mind to get healthier by its own rhythms and one should pray also for snakes and for the whole world and ti dedicate one's future for a heart-felt moral way of living in harmony with one's soul.
well there were many buddhas before siddharta. Buddha is not a name, its a title giving to a person which means " an awakened person". What siddharta told his disciples was that he will not reincarnate agin into another person.
These goofy tards don't seem to understand their own beliefs. Buddha was enlightened and therefore cannot be reincarnated. What a bunch of scam artists!
I think they mean "future Buddha," not reincarnated Buddha. There is no reincarnation in Buddhism, but Buddha said there are multiple Buddhas of the past and future.
he looks like he is merged with the energy of the tree somehow.. know that sounds a bit crazy.. biut look how in tune he looks with his environment.. puzzling
we are Energy (E=Mc2 then M=E/C2) so with the right balancing of ourselves (mind, body, heart) we can use, distribute, re-generate and spread the body energy in a way the body, mind and heart needs.
Is it a long process, most probably no only 1 life is enough... but in any case is something we have to think about; we have ever do our best to improve ourselves.
despite being fogged by the commercialism that surrounds such individuals, what is being demonstrated for us is the we are not just a body but an all powerful mind...I'm sure these people, if they are genuine, do not want you to follow them; rather you find yourself, your mind power and discover your true nature and ultimately what we as soul/minds are always connected to...a greater Mind of compassion and Heart of Love
Generally speaking, most things grow when receiving the proper nutrition. For some reason (just a hunch), I don't think this guy gets all the nutrition he needs...
there are two serious flaws in this documentary...first Buddhism was developed in India and not Nepal despite their close proximity
secondly, Buddha cannot be reincarnated...if Buddhism mentions of enlightenment...that means a person who attains Buddhahood has pulled himself/herself out of the cycle of life and death...thus there can no longer be a reincarnation of buddha
I don't think the documentary isn't claiming the boy to be an incarnate of Buddha, but rather saying what the locals believe him to be. Most of these locals are Hindus considering they are Nepalese and so I wouldn't necessarily go with them either. We'll have to wait and see but he is one remarkable kid.
@josephsim get your facts right, the place of birth of Buddha is in Nepal not India, although it was previously a part of India but now the people and the place belong to Nepal and the place in the documentary is in Nepal and it is not India that developed Buddhism but the people of Buddha's home town which are Nepalese.
@BuddhaBoyVideos and also... he isn't getting any nutrition other than spiritual energy... meaning there is nothing to leave his body. He doesn't excrete.
