Personally preferred DBZ to Kai, probably due to having watched DBZ first, growing up with it etc etc. But it's good to see they are they have revived it into something more modern, maybe the younger generation who haven't been able to watch DBZ or (dear god) never heard of it will get to do so now.

the people who worked on the dbz kai project put most of their money into the intro..they got the orignal episodes, took out some stuff and changed the voices of some characters.. and that is why dbz kai sucks

I like it but I feel like the artwork makes it look......idk. I mean its good but I feel like it looks a little more cartoonish rather then anime. The openings for Budokai 2 and Budokai 3 were just right imo. They were drawn perfectly but not overdone.

I admit it would've been a great idea this of a remake if it was completely redrawn... but i won't watch the same again if its only "remastered". The op is cool but the filler was originally pretty good, it was well placed and there wasn't too much of it like on some other anime series, it was also coherent to the story. Btw you guys are sooo lucky. You get the original dubs in english. I saw it all in spanish, and now since they changed dubbing actors, it just sucks.

Kai is indeed the same as dbz in story, but all the filler (stories in the anime and not in the original manga) is out. also the opening and ending music and video are different.

I'm not saying english is bad, the english dub was very good compared to most animes dubbed out there.
