Hmmm, I don't know what happened to her today at the Santa Anita Oaks. Seems that she just ran too wide at the last turn (which she did before, even 8 wide), had a bad wobbly run at the stretch and wasn't at her best. Maybe they need to talk to Chris Paasch who trained her previously. I still think that she is the best 3 yr old filly and would like to see her run against the boys, though if possible! :-)
Mike Ivarone confirmed yesterday after her devastating victory that she will indeed be pointed to the Derby! Her next start will be in the Santa Anita Derby to test the boys, if she wins she'll be going to Louisville!

I read on bloodhorse today that she's making her comeback in the Gazelle this saturday!

Just read on bloodhorse she is supposed to race in the El Encino Stakes maybe this or next weekend? I didn't read the full article.

Yeah, i read that too. Hopefully she does well or she will probably be retired.
Imagine if her, zenyatta, and rachel alexandra raced against each other (if stardom bound gets back to her old form)

Thanks for your perspective (the blindest race fan is the one with only two eyes).
I wouldn't worry about the trip and all the rest. Better now than later.
Besides, Frankel has an amazing upside potential on the First Saturday in May.
