doty221: Interestingly enough, there is a similar passage in Sahih al-Bukhari (a book of oral traditions about the life of Muhammad, considered by Sunni Muslims to be "the most accurate book after the Koran" (islamonline period com) that says "[Muhammad] said, 'If somebody takes some 'Ajwa dates every morning, he will not be effected by poison or magic on that day till night.'" So this challenge applies to Sunnis as well, as long as they eat some 'Ajwa dates first.

Very logical question, Matt7wiki. The most skeptic (reasonable) conclusion, if they who wrote the NT KNEW the OT prophecies, would be that they just wrote a book making it appear as Jesus fulfilled these prophecies. And indeed, in many, many cases of fulfilled prophecy, you have no other witness than the NT. (of course that would not be very convincing, although it indeed convinced half the world for some strange reason). Problem is that there are some of these prophesies which are not even.....
