What's wrong about it? When Stefan agreed to give Elena to Klaus he instantly regretted it afterwards and called Damon. If your family member or bf/wife/husband/g/f was about to die & one of their friends would die if you saved them, would you honestly choose to save their friend over your loved one? Give me a break.

@gothiccowgirl07 Actually I really do not think it is. AT ALL. It is not romantic to tell someone you would let someone who they are very close to die knowing that would kill them. It's selfish and wrong. It was especially dickish of him to tell her that after seeing how devastated she was after thinking Bonnie had died. Obviously Elena didn't like that either otherwise she wouldn't have went and resurrected Elijah right after this to find another way where Bonnie wouldn't have to die for her.

Unlike Stefan, at least Damon didn't sugarcoat shit for Elena and told her things like they were. Damon didn't hide what or who he was. Elena never basically knew Stefan as much as she liked to think this whole time, but I'm not surprised. Damon is a damaged guy, and his journey is about growing.
