  • Am I the only one who finds this creepy and disturbing??? It's really creepy!

  • quiero el video en español xd

  • what's triffling?

  • @carloota2 messing about

  • This is great I so wish I could find the DVD set to this series

  • I remember being in a play of this-it's no fun having to memorise all the rhymes when you are 9 years old (amazingly the kid who did the rat speech got it word perfect)

  • i found this by accident (lol) and it's really cool actually. was slightly disturbed by the animation cause i've never seen this type before ... but nvm cause it's really clever and like wallace and gromit :D

  • 5 stars for the rodent soliloquy.

also, this clip rules so hard, reminds me of being a kid.

  • the scary part is that i visited hamelin 7 years ago, and in the town hall they have this old speech a mayor once gave and it starts with

"its been 15 years since our children left"

  • @robyelsewhere5205 They say that a lot of fairy tales and myths are based in truth. The Pied Piper may have been a military recruiter or some sort of mountebank or disgruntled ex-employee who lured away the children from their deceitful parents. How did the rest of the speech run?

  • poor rats :)

  • I think the "CBS Storybrake Virsion" Of This story was a cartoon.

  • image the uncountable numbers of stops and repositions needed for this intricate, breathtaking work!

  • Some time ago I saw a program on the Discovery

channel about myth's and legends and there is

quite a lot of historians who claim that this

story really did happen in Hamelin in real life,

only there the children was not taken into a mountain but was taken deep into the woods and

killed by the Piper and his followers.

  • you said this on all 3 parts,ok we get the idea!yeesh.anyway.great job!sounds a bit quiet but apart from that great.

  • omg. I think i remember seening a cartoon virsion on "CBS StoryBrake" and I think Malcom Jamal Warner was the host at that time, and I remember on the cartoon virsion of this story, The piper was going to sell the kids that he had taken from hamelin. So if anyone remembers that clip, put it on here, please.

  • i only have one episode, "The Fool of the World: And flying ship" it has no James Earl Jones in it.

    The fundings were very different.

  • eerie as hell but lovely too!

  • This is awesome!

  • Someone please tell me how to get a hold of a copy of the "Long Ago and Far Away" series. I would do anything to to have my own copy.

  • where can I get the rest of the Long ago and Far Away shows.James Earl Jones was the host of the show. I have tried to find them for years. Let me know

  • I saw this as a child, about 1980, it amazed me then and it still does now. Thanx for posting it. Thet don't make em' like they used to.
