Another pumped up media immitation of what some think should replace a proper voice for the role, good diction, solid phrasing and an overall dramatic understanding. It took him (and he did say this himself) 5 years before he vocally matured into Otello. Granted Cura still has to mature, in age and voice, to do a stellar Otello but, considering the talent that is out there, Jose is the best out there both physically and vocally. Dont be so quick to judge w/o reason.
Half nude Otello is absolutely authentic idea. He is an amnimal man. And Cura of course looks great vithout shirt. But it's very erotic scene this way.
