  • i love this review

  • how many accents were in this?

  • lmao

  • Heheheh...not a french accent, but very funny mix off accents!

    Well done Mr Clarkson :)

  • lol he sound moar german than french

  • lol europe

  • Quel connard ! What a jerk !

  • He was speaking like a russian guy

  • what about the venturi?

  • @Boxfresh2010 Good point. I don`t know. Ask Jeremy. :)

  • "I am a big soft Citroen!"

'Up next: 650 horsepower Citroen GT'

  • he sounds like the rooster players from love guruu

  • Citroen? Supercar? naaahhhhhh

  • its really not made for racing

  • Given the quality of gourmet English they do not deserve this car.

  • @Lemaure44 That's actually really, REALLY funny. My wife was a bona fide Anglophile until she had a traditional English breakfast of pork-n-beans, chips (fries as we call them in America), sausage and eggs. Yuck!!

  • @daTruChosen

The poor woman! She went through hell!

    : )

  • "I am not a super-car I am a car from the most innovative company ever" that's what he should say...Jerk as always...

  • @lazakas I agree

  • @lazakas Take whatever he says with a pinch of salt. He used to rave about Peugeots being some of the best handling cars you can buy but nowadays, Clarkson, Hammond and May are more concerned with bashing them. Also, if you watch his proper Top Gear review, he actually likes the C6.

  • @RikMcCloud Agree... I still remember the episode with the comparasision of C6 and the 5 series in the horserace ;-) But i don't agree with some thing for example the 2CV destruction... There are many people out there who are trying to find one and he destroys them... Anyway... ;-)

  • I love is french accent.

  • Clarkson is such a dick. LG.

  • Hehehe, I'm still laughing :P Would be kinda fun if the car could have that complaining as optional :P

  • The first time I watched this, I laughed so fucking hard,

  • What r u doing? U IDIOTIC ENGLISHMAN!!! GO BACK AND EAT UR BACHON SANDWICH!! I"M GOING TO HAVE A CRASH AND IT'LL HURT ME MORE THAN IT'LL HURT U!!! NOW STOP IT!!! NOW,STOP!!!

  • Deadly I had to buy one, very nice taxi

  • This guy is great...

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • idiot

  • what season and episode was this?

  • @emet79

It's from Jeremy's 'Supercar Showdown' DVD.

  • Cleaver, Don't think of it as a sports car, think of it as a Rolls and then it makes sence.

  • hahaahahah!

  • hahahaha.......idiot....

  • Clarkson is a truly great entertainer. This Citroen C6 is a superbly comfortable car, designed for driving dignitaries around in Paris and Monaco etc. It's plain stupid to thrash a beautiful car like this. It proves nothing !!! Loeb has won the world rally championship with Citroen for 6 years consecutively. They make different cars for different purposes. I like big Citroens and I like France and the French people.

  • Sometimes Clarkson can be so funny!

And for those who didn't notice: he's not making a negative comment and by no means fun of the c6. He just says (in a very funny way) that this car is not made for speeding, which is true.

  • C'est un belle voiture et lui il est

    completement ding!

    Mais c'est ca la TELEVISION!

    Et j'aime pa la television

    Je prefere YouTube - toujours

    YouTube my Television

    Dr John

    CarSanook (dot com)

    Bangkok

    Kingdom od Thailand

  • hahahahahahahahaha...king :D

  • now stoppet

  • i luv it

  • It's the most expensive french car, unless you count the Veyron, which is 'Italian', but it's made in france.

  • How is it Italian?

  • Because Bugatti was founded by Ettore Bugatti, who if I'm not mistaken, was Italian.

  • You're right he was Italian. He did found the company in France, though. I guess that makes Bugatti a French company...technically.

  • I guess it could be whatever you want it to... I mean, Bently is technically "British" but it's owned by Germans at the moment.

  • Yes, Bentley is owned by VW and VW also own Bugatti and Lambourgini. BMW owns Rolls Royce.

  • the bugatti veyron is owned by Volks Wagen for a couple of years now.

  • lamboghini is owned by audi does that make all lambos german?

  • yes

  • @theownerer1029 technically yes, but no ahahahahaha

  • um no its not...citroen is owned by peugeot

  • im talking about lambo!

  • LOL...do your homework, son

PSA is a 3-way company, and peugeot is NOT in the lead;)

  • i did you muppet...as a matter of fact i own a citroen. and the psa was formed as a joint venture but citroen was bought by peugeot in '74 . look it up before opening your mouth and looking stupid

  • LOL "Don't do that!, Stop it" It's good to hear that Jeremy will thrash on the French......I was beginning to think he would only thrash on the Americans.

  • what's the song that starts @ 0:09?

  • I'm French, but I perfer YOUR car tests with Sir Clarkson, May and Hammond !!!!!!!!!

Jeremy is the best, lucky British !!!!

  • i think they should go back to eating their BACON sandwiches and their HP SAUCE

  • Je suis completement d'accord, tout ce qu'on a est Chapatte et les services conso pour les voitures...

  • "I am not a super-car I am a big soft citroen"

  • @brie36, Big softe Citerône!

  • "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!??"....."I WONT DO THIS!"....This guy is unbelievebly funny. I mean, excellent car but in a sport view he couldn't be more realistic. And the most important...he definly makes me laff. Keep doing this Jeremy, you're really good.

  • wahahahahaha =D

the way he says that :o haha

  • Because his favorite car company isn't Ferrari or anything...

  • ... are you kidding?,

if I remember correctly his car (and thus, the car he loves most) is a Ford GT.. and he really loves his Ferrari's and loads of German cars and his review for the C5 was more than favorable - he really liked that car.

  • I agreeeee!!!!

  • Jeremy Clarkson, you are a great entertainer; but France is my favourite country to visit and I do like the french rather a lot. These big C6 Citroens are designed purely for comfort. They are fabulous cars in their correct environment.

  • bacon sandwiches and crust cut pizzas

    fuck the world

    Wat RRRR u doin

  • haha that was funny!! XD

  • my volvo 760 did the same, steering got solid when I was going through the cones

  • lol

  • "Don't be an idiot Englisher!"

    LOL

  • hahahahaha.........C6 is a wee bit softer then my XM

  • Have you fitted the soft spheres to your xm i have to mine, then see which one has the soft ride.Mine floats like a car on air.You can get the spheres from FRENCH GERMAN AND SWEDISH car parts,Let me know.

  • What arrrrr uuuu doooin??????

  • In Denmark it's 140.000 € because of the insane taxes! XD

  • WTF is wrong with Denmark?

  • Jeremey Clarkson is funny.

  • O MAN!

  • haha go back to eating yr sandwhich lolz...

  • and the hp sauce! xD

  • LOLZ SANDWHICH ftw :)

  • ok ok bugatti was founded by an italian, is owned by germans VW but is built in france and check it out VEYRON is the name of the first man in the world to hit 300km/h. VEYRON was French and hit 300 on the LE MANS track in France.

I'd say its mor italo franco german

  • Best car ever made for normal driving, I love my C6

  • What is the cost of the citroen c6??

  • From £28,795 - £37,750 OTR

  • i am not a supercar i am a big soft citroen....lmao

  • There is a big difference, lamborghinis are still built in italy. The founder of rolex was also german, so is rolex a german watch?

  • And just so you know, Ettore Bugatti, the founder, was Italian...

  • well technically Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. is a French automobile manufacturer located in the French town of Molsheim, Alsace, France. That makes it Frech. The same goes for Lamborghini,Lamborghini is now a subsidiary of the German luxury car manufacturer, Audi AG, which is in turn a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft). You wouldn#t say Lambo's is German, now would you?!?!

  • Lamorghinis are more German than you'd think. Still there's plenty of Italian work in them but they also have audi quattro system and that is as Italian as Berlin.

  • thought the bugatti veyron was the most expensive car made by the french

  • Veyron isn't french.

  • Yeah Bugatti is owned by Volkswagen which is German, but the car is BUILT in France by French.

  • Fantastic! the C6 rules!

  • in fairness it may be regarded as some on here as a 'funny' french car but i suspect it is still much better built and much better to drive on an ACTUAL road than any american offering - just for the record i'm english - i'm not supposed to like this car. Citroen invented crumple zones, self leveling suspension and the modern way of assembling a monocoque car 50 years ago. Americans are still using leaf springs in sports cars, we don't even use those on trains anymore.

  • Citroen C6 is purely made for giving diplomats etc a comfortable floaty ride in places like Monaco, San Tropez and Cannes etc. The brilliant Sebastian Loeb has just been crowned world rally champion for the sixth consecutive year. He drives Citroen. Obviously the rally car will have rock hard suspension and amazing reliability.

  • I am a big fan of Jeremy Clarkson. He is a fantastic entertainer. France is my favourite country and I really like many French people. Citroen cars are purpose built. The old DS was the most beautiful car on the planet designed by an Italian, the new C5 was designed by a Croatian who worked for Audi previously. The old 2 CV was deliberately basic and simple. The new C4 Picasso is a very successful comfortable MPV. I saw a documentary, Monsieur Citroen was an amazing man.

  • @Treefrog2020 actually Mercedes-Benz invented the cumple zones, they hold the patent since 1952, but because it was an important safety feature Mercedes licenced it for other manufacturers, just as it did later with Abs, Esp etc.

  • @Treefrog2020 an americans idea of a 'sports car' is just to give it absolutely no suspension at all,i live in the outback of australia(ino, typical but i just do) and if u had leaf spring suspension out here it wouldnt be a sports car itd be,ahh f^*&%&^%*&^$*^%$*^%$*^%$*^%$*^&%$*^%&#&%$#&%$!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wheres the cyropracter with the pain meds becaus ehere ud just be killed itd be like going through a meat grinder, slef leveling suspension here, would be quite frankly the greatest invention ever

  • @Treefrog2020 Of course it's comfortable, it's a cruiser, not a racer, and it's Citroën :) Probably in the video just to have a Citroën there, though it's not a supercar :P not the race kind anyhow.

  • @Treefrog2020

Leaf springs on a 100K Corvette is just asking to be ridiculed...

  • @rock3tcat

Hey, if it works, it works, who cares how 'advanced' it is.

  • @Treefrog2020 We in America love your British cars but we don't see many due to the cost of having to buy 2. One to drive while the other is in the shop being repaired.

  • @Treefrog2020 Volvo invented crumple zones... which makes it and citroen, soft.

  • Hey racejerko yo seem to have a lot of arguments to say feench cars are badly made

  • u can suck my balls!!

  • you're a nobody too =] and you can't talk properly

  • doesn't really sounds like "you're a nobody too =] and you can't talk properly" but ok then and by the way all you do is drive a big truck in a straight line, not reallt challenging

  • you're a brit yourself. how come you're slagging your fellow countrymen? and yes you are british, that little rectangle on the top left of your flag shows that. now before you go slagging off me for being irish, just remember you're just in a hole in the ground they forgot to fill in. nothin but sand and hillbillies with a different accent.

  • lmfao

  • so whats this French/German competition ... best cars are build when they cooperate not when they separate. This |Citroen is brilliant business class car - no point of making laugh of it ... first do something better then it and then try to make laugh of it ...

  • @Allexmax atleast one normal comment

  • bacon sandwhichs with your hp sauce

  • HP Sauce?

  • Just because a car is built somewhere doesn't make it's nationality of that place. Does anyone consider Honda Civics to be Canadian? Or BMWs to be American? The deciding factor is who it is designed and engineered by. Bugatti = German.

  • Correct - thank god - someone with grasp of logical thinking. If people claim that a car is of certain nationality because of where its built then just about everything we wear etc is Chinese - nike=chinese, adidas=chinese and so on.

  • @TopSpeedCGT Bugatti was founded in Molsheim, France as a manufacturer of high performance automobiles by Ettore Bugatti, an Italian immigrant described as an eccentric genius Make any sence. If the companys original HQ is in France then the sompany is French or if its original HQ is in germany its German.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...........Funniest shit ever

  • omg funny french cars.....

  • haha that was friggin' hilarious

  • Have a look at the new C5,and go to test it...then tell me if that's rubbish ?

  • Clarkson has given good reviews of the C6 in the past. I think the point he's trying to make here is that the French don't build supercars...Well aside from the Veyron which is indeed built in France. Of course they're engineered and owned by Ze Germans so really you can argue either way about its nationality.

  • isnt aston martin owned by the english again??? fairly sure it was brought bk from ford

  • That fucking stuck-up Limey just marvellously embodies the paragon of the genuine detestable Rosbif.

  • @racejacko: After having driven italian, german, japanese, czech and american cars I have to say none of them is perfect but every one fits an individual taste.

In the end, I stuck to mid-size french cars because of the enormous driving-comfort. And this is what this "article" of Clarkson refers to, like his other, longer test of the C6.

  • Yeah, they (French cars) only lead in passive safety (not only 5 EuroNCAP stars but also lot's of 'green' readings from dummies), have very modern and frugal diesels, great drive comfort, pretty styling and are cheap.

Beside the point, do people of Ireland have enough engineering ingenuity to build a car or only to write about it in a local newspaper? :O)

  • bugatti veyron is french that car is far from rubbish... even tho its made by volkswagen its still french

  • Volkswagen is not French, It is german.

  • Stupid English way of thinking...

Actually England doesn't have any car producer at all except little one: Lotus, Caterham...

Aston is owned by Ford, Bentley by VW, Rolls by BMW...Rover was bought by Chinese...TVR by an Investment fund...

So Clarkson, I like your programm but I think English should have a car builder that doesn't go bankrupt before criticizing French car builders that produce cars for people and not

    junky millionaires like you!

  • Yeah, Aston Martin is owned by Ford but they are still made in Britain. And Aston Martin is one of the few profitable companies Ford owns that why they are selling them on.

  • wrong. aston martin is no longer owned by ford. owned by the man who set up the V8 vantage prodrive

  • Aston Martin is now owned by a conglomerate from Kuwait...

  • senseless comments by this silly men. just rubbish comes out of his mouth. but he is thinking, he know cars.....could be a german

  • last line: "it's r.."

    -"it's right"?

    -"it's wrong"?

    -"it's rubbish"?

    what did he say next?

I wanted to hear what happened next....

  • dobre dobre :D
