Thank to you I will be prepare to take Algebra in the fall at my Local Community College, I wish when I was younger and attending High School that there were more professors like you, perhaps I would've like math more and not flunked it ending up droping out of High School.
Thank god to the State of Conneticut years later I was able to earn my H.S Diploma through the Adult H.S.D program and now able to earn a ADN within a few semesters...Please keep up witht he good work.
25 years ago I had this course in college, now I'm trying to relearn it. After watching this video I'm wondering why it seemed so hard. Wish you could have been my teacher the first time around!
Question: Ex. 1-4 c) Do you really mean 3 x sub 1 - 5 x sub 2 = 11?
or is the minus sign a typo; and actually meant to be + 5 x sub 2?
The reason I ask is that as written, I get x sub 1 = 61/13 and x sub 2 = 8/13 whereas, if I change the second equation to have +5 instead of -5, I get x sub 1 = 2 and x sub 2 = 1, which is a lot more like the answers to the preceding problems.

I love the way you think! I've never seen this approach taken before. I also like the way you start from nothing and build everything up. Just like your rational geometry, it's fascinating and gives me a whole new understanding. Thanks for these videos.
Question: Ex. 1-4 a) Do you really mean x sub 2 - 3 x sub 2 = -9
or is the first x sub 2 a typo; and actually meant to be x sub 1?
This is awesome, thanks a lot for posting these. I don't have anything to do over the summer, might as well learn something new

I enjoyed this and thought it was well done. However, the professor reminded me of Ricardo Montalban as Khan, which kept cracking me up.

Loved it - Thank you very much! But shouldn't vector coordinates be written in square brackets, eg v vector = [1 , 2]?

Hi @tamegomaith93
I prefer to use square brackets for points, and rounded brackets for vectors
