@nisbahmumtaz909 Daisuke's messed around with techno before, but only slightly. Meguro has done a HUGE amount of techno and electronic based stuff, especially in his early career with Atlus. He just hardly does it anymore.
You should also check out "In the Hands of Time" that I posted up. That has more of a Meguro rock feel.
Thanks for the feedback, and I completely agree on mainstream. I don't even remember the last time I played the radio.
Oh man, really? I just read on some of the P4 fighting game, but where'd you catch wind of P5? This is all too much for me. I'm glad I'm not an asthmatic. And the Guilty Gear guys don't fool around when it comes to true blue fighters!
Great song! You should work with the P4 fighting theme more. You've got just the style to pull of some really awesome tracks.
@Merlandese Thanks! I had in mind to do a playful kind of jazzy breakbeat or drumnbass track and then a rock track incorporating some elements of Reach Out to the Truth. However, and this is the main reason why I haven't done guitar tracks lately, is I'm unable to incorporated the Guitar Rig VST into Reason. I just don't have the patience to record guitar, export, import to Reason and then rerecord all over again if something's off.
@garoad Yeah, that's be a bitch to do over and over again. A lot of my older songs on Youtube were made in a similar fashion, with me rerecording different lines from my piano. Is Guitar Rig what you've used in Wanna be a Rebel and In the Hands of Time?
When are you going to release The Best of Garoad Compilation, man? I swear I can't get enough of Meet the Staff, The Mysterious Detective and The Girl with the Iron Heart.
@Merlandese Both of those were actually done in Reason/Record (which explains why the quality of the guitars are so crappy). I could record the guitars straight through Record's "patches", but they're terrible tbfh.
Cool stuff, but I think it needs a climatic rush of guitar or some such, like Alexandrite's epic solo. :P I can't wait to see what Meguro and/or Ishiwatari cook up for this.
@cjiwakura Ugh, I know. I mentioned this in another comment on this video, but the process I have to go through in recording guitars is a pain in the ass and not worth it. Hopefully, I'll be equipped with much better gear around Christmas that will make recording guitar much easier. When that happens, I'll be breaking out all kinds of heavy guitar tunes
@GenesisBmusic I'm stoked! But seriously, if the soundtrack features a collaboration of Shoji Meguro and Daisuke Ishiwatari, my brain will literally melt.

Cool tunes :D Though I really won't see this fit to the game
But that has nothing to do with the music being legit, Good work man!

Whats up with jiraya?

As much as I enjoy this, I don't think they'll ever release something like this.
Both Shoji and Daisuke are renowned composers with some distinct style of their own. Furthermore, they both don't seem to use techno fully, if at all.
Especially Daisuke. Not complaining though. His metal is actually enjoyable compared to the shit we hear on the mainstream.
