I love it. Love it love it love it. I bought a hulk but never used it once I realized I was playing in the midst of "hulkageddon" now the thorns in my side are 1 day old alts loot/salvage ninja'ing me. As tempting as it is to kill them I know they probably have a pvp fitted alt (and perhaps some friends) at the ready. I run missions now w/ a less than perfect agent, and I always play like I'm being followed, warping to my missions from safe spots.
This is great, just wondering tho I can't understand the Nos, is it just in case they drop your cap somehow cause I thought that is was something that lvl'ed your cp with there's. just a little confused, Great job tho. This is a great example for those who constantly get can flipped.
Heyya - no this was filmed back when the NOS behaved like a Neut with NOS benefits. This got nerfed by CCP a couple of years back (this video is pretty old, as you can tell from the interface!).
I suspect the tactic still works with Neuts instead of NOS, but with the extra cap demand you might need to give a midslot to a cap booster.
Having said all that, doing this is still an *insane* risk/reward balance for any pilot, and I lost a bundle of isk in the process.
@EVEjnb Given that the rigs are now categorized by size, one should be able to afford it. I actually tested my own version of a Battle Hulk a while back in 0.0, but it was only meant to work with a fleet.

Great video man. Far out I'm just looking at the capacitor status indicator it looks like a mag wheel from an old MG or something! So many little bars, I've never seen one like that. (Then again I am totally newb at this game. Main character has 336K skillpoints at present).
I'm only just into EVE but I love everything about it. I even love that I had to learn the consqeuences of going into 0.4 space by being killed at the gates by pirates. I love all the maths, and I love the challenge.
must have had some decent drones and skills. I enjoyed eve for quite a while, however my ping went through the roof and..well i just lost interest with all the massive changes. (then again i was around in 01-03, came back about 06 and it was soo different.)

Well I love my phantasm, but I almost lost it when I went afk over a planet and an Incursion just happened to spawn there... I have the worst luck. Ever.
Basicly, its not for everyone, some people just don't want to PvP, not their thing, they may find that exploration, manufactureing, mining, PvE is more in their interests...
I am a semi-carebear, I PvP sometimes in times of war, but I don't have the means to replace lost ships, so everyone starts as a carebear, then comes the fun stuff.
Eve isn't an easy game though, try it out and then you'll understand.
@NinjatoBlade well nomatter where you are in the game if you are not in an npc corp PVP is going to happen. If you do like mining you can easily do it out in 0.0 you just have to find a good group to fly with out there and have a good intel gathering effort in the area so you know when hostile ships are flying through. Mining mercoxit is great. wormholes have some great PVE with awsome loot.

It all depends on circumstance and luck, perhaps some people get that lucky break and good company that either sends them right into the core of Eve, or plainly with people they look forward to seeing every day so its fun.
Sadly, for most people, they end up playing the time game, but not to discourage anyone, it is still the best game ever created.

Honestly, its hard to be a PvPer unless you play a lot or get big breaks with cash, you loose a ship, its gone forever. Not much for most PvPers, a battleship only costs about 100-200m, way to much for some people though, and if they aren't quick witted in battle...
So is that 2 nos or energy neuts? and a warp scram and dis or 2 dis or 2 scramblers? the can't tell what setup he's using and why he's using that particular one.
Im not an industrialist. I love to Pvp But even I believe ore thieves are just retards. Eve has its own way of natural selection. @Zares28 I taunted an ore thief that gloated over his theft from my can (stole 3 Clear Ice, worth what, 200k?). He started smack-talking, so I taunted him more, got the whole local channel laughing their asses off at him. He got so mad he shot my Mackinaw. Concord wasted him, and I picked up about $13m of loot from him and salvaged T2 from his ship. The chatlog is epic (and I call hardly anything 'epic')

i checked these kills out on battleclinic, seems like they occur throughout a two week period or something its not like he went on a killing spree. They dont even occur in the order he presents them. You dont need a mwd to burn away under normal speed from a hulk that has no ab or mwd itself. This would never scare a pirate corp. Dude doesnt even have 54 kills

I've been pvp'ing in 0.0 for quite awhile now and I van say that this could be true as in he might have made it up but it's possible for this to happen. What you have to remember is exumers aren't made but used to mine low-sec which means if fitted right they can tank as much as a cruiser.
lol its fun till they bring ecm and jam/scram/webafy you then your the toast and their 2-8m frigs pop the hulk taht costs way moar.. lol if i was their corp id prolly bait you via a 1 man guy then when you attk back warp in and pop teh hulk. good vid though you showed em ^.^

@TheNeilleo Aye, best part of the game, but not the only part. The game would fall apart without carebears, someone needs to mine in order to make the ships and the ammo to shoot and blow things up.
Honestly, its hard to be a PvPer unless you play a lot or get big breaks with cash, you loose a ship, its gone forever. Not much for most PvPers, a battleship only costs about 100-200m, way to much for some people though, and if they aren't quick witted in battle...

@NinjatoBlade This is why you don't fly Big things until you can fit and fly them to wtfpwn your war targets :) Start off with small ships/targets :)

Im not an industrialist. I love to Pvp But even I believe ore thieves are just retards. Eve has its own way of natural selection. People like ore thieves will eventually be rooted out of the game because they cant handle being awesome... instead they steal people's ore all day making what? 5 mill a day? lol noobs. they will never experience the TRUE game play of eve

@Zares28 I taunted an ore thief that gloated over his theft from my can (stole 3 Clear Ice, worth what, 200k?). He started smack-talking, so I taunted him more, got the whole local channel laughing their asses off at him. He got so mad he shot my Mackinaw. Concord wasted him, and I picked up about $13m of loot from him and salvaged T2 from his ship. The chatlog is epic (and I call hardly anything 'epic')

They only drain cap.
And vamps (it's actually nos) drain cap while giving you some as well. But it only works to your cap level.
So if you have 90% cap left you can't drain the enemy with nos past that level.
However neuts will drain a lot more cap, don't care about your or the enemies cap amount, but don't add any to you.
Neuts are great against any ship really. Even if the weapons don't use cap (like projectile turrets and missiles), prop mods and other things do.

i checked these kills out on battleclinic, seems like they occur throughout a two week period or something its not like he went on a killing spree. They dont even occur in the order he presents them. You dont need a mwd to burn away under normal speed from a hulk that has no ab or mwd itself. This would never scare a pirate corp. Dude doesnt even have 54 kills

Ya flip in a frig, and keep a bs in a station for when the miners get pissed off, Personally I find can flipping only slightly less boring than camping a gate. Good vid though, nicely done. xD

I've been pvp'ing in 0.0 for quite awhile now and I van say that this could be true as in he might have made it up but it's possible for this to happen. What you have to remember is exumers aren't made but used to mine low-sec which means if fitted right they can tank as much as a cruiser.
