  • @MyMatheus321 .....was..... sadly.

  • Chucks legacy lives on in Matt Sotelo and Muhammed Suiçmez. However, there can be only one Chuck.

  • gran concierto,, hubiera querido estar allá

  • Andy LaRocque's solo style reminds me of Jonathan Donais'

  • For my death is the best group of metal in the entire history and chuck will live poe always in our hearts!!!!!!!!! lml (>.<) lml

  • YOUR DREAMS TO DESTROOOOY !!!!

    ...thank you

    hahaha nice

  • behold, starting at 0:45 when the camera starts zooming in... AND BOW BEFORE THE METAL GOD!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God take Justin Bieber and bring us back Chuck Schuldiner !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man im a big death fan but ...

I like Death more between 1987-1993 .. And in my opinion ... this sounds awful .. Its like hes screaching or something

  • @RSCyeaaah With all the respect you deserve and excuse for what I'm going to say but your taste 4 the band is a shit, why? Chuck discovered the most technical sounds within a raw genre such as death metal... only true Death fans listen the band since the beginning till end...

  • fuck i wish i was born in the 80's, i never gonna see Death playing

  • thumbs up for chuck evil shuldiner return

  • Hamm ruined LaRocque's AWESOME original solo

  • @Lightridergm

    Dude

    wtf are you talking about

  • They needed to turn Chuck's guitar up WAY more! :(

  • Anyone knows what kind of Marshall amp heads are those ?

  • @dekzan if memory serves me right... those are marshall AVT 150H heads. they're either that or the previous generation amps, the valvestate heads with valve pre-amps (12ax7 valves) and solid state power amps.

  • @dekzan Valvestate 8100

  • damn, ik wou dat ik een stuk ouder was dan 18 , dan had ik hierbij kunnen zijn!! :(

  • God give us back Chuck!

  • fucking cancer i really want to see chuck at live and listen to him to more music from death or control denied. i want to do some cover for death. gotta make sure i work on them. chuck is one of my inspiration. R.I.P. Charles Michael "Chuck" Schuldiner

  • @metalfreak1324 The new Control Denied will keep his memory flowing. His guitars on are on it.

  • @metalmanic66690 is it any good? I've heard the one he did after he finished recording 'sounds of perseverance' with Death and did care for the vocals he used.

  • i really dont like that bassist, cant play the song like steve digorgio

  • @Kent3003434: In my opinion no one can play like DiGiorgio, but Clendenin was good in The Sound Of Perseverance.

  • I saw the live in LA there was moshing. i think it is because we mosh to everything in america. In other countries they only mosh when lead singers says so.

  • @jamesthemetalhead21 its not true...in my country evryone and everything is moshing :D

  • @jamesthemetalhead21 its not true...in my country everyone and everything is moshing :D

  • The people in the crowd didn't know how lucky they were

  • @dakotamanomgwtf exactly!..

  • quelle 5 persone non capiscono un cazzo!

  • the best!

  • damn he's so good he makes it look so easy to play

  • ...Some people just cannot be replaced......never

  • from 1:23 on.... so bad ass...

  • Dammit. Shannon was out of tune in this one.

  • its because other countries dont mosh. The one in philly video i see moshing.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm gonna throw a different topic in here, I know we all mourn the death of Chuck and the band, trust me, I could argue I'm his biggest fan, but what the fuck is up with the crowd?! No moshing at all! Maybe because Death were so underground the mainstream festival goers would not have had access to this blissfuly evil music

  • @Disasterpeice01 @jamesthemetalhead21 If you watch the video of Pull The Plug from the same gig, you'll see that they do mosh. I just think that Death's later stuff (like this song) isn't really fit for moshing, it's more about chilling out a bit and appreciating the greatness of the music.

  • We need to train metal to cure kill cancer. Or kill it.

  • 1:35 to 1:50 eargasm

  • Man his voice is sooo....... wow.I wish i could sing like him. Chuck you´re my fucking idol!!!! RIP.

  • Im a fan of Death. But i have to admit there is something wrong with this performance. : (

  • Only one message: FUCK YOU CANCER!! YOU KILLED CHUCK AND DIO!!!! X (

  • I wish i was one of the camera guys there...

  • the first actual metal band in history, they were so advanced by their time. If they had started in 2000, theuy would eaten the world...

  • I thought chuck's pickup was a white dimarzio. eh maybe he replaced it if it broke.

  • i am 15 years old...but i know something about Metal music...and...death was best...and for me is Best forever....Chuck really know how to play a true metal...not the commercial shit's...i will love him forever....RIP ! he is Hero !

  • 5 people must be trapped in a corner!

  • Damn, I was 6 years old when this was filmed, I wish i had discovered Metal at an earlier age.

  • Wow.. I love the bass player!

  • are those cowboy boots?

  • it acctually surprise me when he says (in the beginning) "Right Eindhoven, what's up?" and whhen he sings... that's a true god: having a normal voice when talking and then POFF a Godly voice when singing \m/

    I won't say R.I.P. 'cause I want Chuck here! \\m//

  • @Ghasta772 he said alrite dynamo wats up, but....yeah

  • @stealthisname66 Awesome

  • @Ghasta772 he says Dynamo not Eindhoven

  • It's stuff like this that makes me wish I was as old as I am now back in the 90s.

  • I live in Eindhoven, too bad I was 5 back in 1998. Wish I could have seen Death live. RIP Chuck.

  • great tune, though shannon hamm shouldve tuned before this

  • @JudgeShred84 you're right

    Great band though.

    RIP Chuck

  • Shannon plays Andy LaRocque's solo PERFECT

then watchin Chuck tap that BC Rich stealth makes me jizz

  • Chuck plays all of that without using his pinky once. That's awesome lol

  • shannon hamm fuckin ripped in this performance

  • @goestovalium11 Fuck you!!! Shannon one of the greatest guitarists on the scene!!! how you dare to talk about his so bad?

  • @BeerKill he sounds out of tune as fuck on this one.

  • @skatefallen15 R.I.P. Chuck :( fuck u u.s.a healthcare

  • 2:20-3:33 <3C<3H<3U<3C<3K<3 S<3C<3H<3U<3L<3D<3I<3N<3E<3R<3

  • This is my favorite song. Chuck showed his divine possibilities here

  • to the right hand the slow man scott.to the left hand the ever lost shannon.maybe live in eindhoven will be the best live ever if we can change scott for steve digiorgio and shannon for paul masvidal,

  • @raulcartago And Richard Christy for Gene Hoglan or Sean Reinert.

  • @JorahDumond is ask too much.you can dream with this team.chuck,steve.andy and gene, with this team you can attain the perfection.no one by far is close to death

  • Don't worry, all hope is not lost for the younger kids, I found Death when I was 16, I am now 20. Since then I have gotten every Death album, the dvd, 2 longsleeves, a t shirt, the control denied album and the 2 chuck schuldiner cds. And they are one of, if not my favorite band of all time, and I have a chuck tribute tattoo designed that I will be getting when money provides.

Death are one of the most important metal bands ever, & the fact that they barely get much recognition for it is crazy

  • this track and countless others proves that death wasnt just another death metal..they were progressive and musicall skilled and werent looking to be another heavy band

  • man Deaths early albums really showcase Chucks thrash infuences. Without Thrash we'd have a very different Death. Chuck was Death, just as Hetfield is Metallica, and Dave Mustaine is Megadeth. It was his last 3 albums imo that changed the boundries of metal. Kinda like Megadeths RIP, and Metallicas RTL, MOP, AJFA. Like the fathers of thrash, Chuck rewrote the Book of metal with Death.

  • the greatest part - solo is OUT OF FUCKIN TUNE!! :@@

  • DEATH : POWER

  • Fiends! I think that people in 300 years will remind Chuck in the same line with Beethoven, Bach, Mozart ect. He indroduced the metal music in a way that nobody does before. I saw Death in 1998 live in Germany. I miss the lyrics and the powerful music!!

Really I can not understand that this guy had not enoght money for medicine.

The most people does not know what good music is and they buy lot of shit like Lady Gaga (for sure she looks better than Chuck) but this can not be the reason!!

  • @Manyak61 Lady Gaga looks better than Chuck? Man, Chuck looks fine and Gaga is a fucking hermaphrodite. I agree with everything else you said though.

  • man my wardrobe is the same as chuck's

chuck really is so great and wished he was still alive cus im sure he was not out yet in his music career... aw man stinks so bad

his music is just put together unlike any band i ever heard that has done so in metal!!! unlike today's death metal bands who only use that double bass and like 100 zeros on the guitar with palm mutes in some weird gallop thing. idk thats my OPINION so dont hate please :/

  • what's amazing is that chuck rocked the death metal scene... in denim jeans and a tight ass v neck. haha, that's awesome. he's seriously the man. it toook me a while to get into death, since i was used to listening to striaght guttural modern day death metal, but i've learned to love and appreciate their amazing musicianship.

  • Chuck Schuldiner IS a Metal GENIUS !!! All Hail to Him !

  • @mpelo7 you cant forget the rest of the band. Chuck was the master mind, but the whole band had a lot to do with it. I love Death. Fuck Cancer (tears)

  • shannon hamn its just a ornament, too dare to kill the best solo ever

  • Chuck is the best metal musican!!!!

    R.I.P

  • yaw yaw yaw yaw, everybody ready ??? we still alive, after the deaaaathh.

  • Truly the fingers of god.

    R.I.P. Chuck Schuldiner

  • how dare chuck play one of the best death solos

  • Symbolic = Best Death Metal Album ever

  • God i love chuck's solo style its so distinct..u kno when u here chuck soloing..and he was right when he said theres to many death metal bands..its true its a big genre but with not much bands differing themselves...u gatta be picky EXPECIALLY if ur a musician

  • this Chucks tapping solo is one of the most beautiful ones..

  • death metal wouldn't exsist with out death. i mean i would but the genre is basically named after the band! chuck is one of biggest inspirations for metal that ever lived. i hope the youngins listen to this shit, cause this is what metal is and what should be. the best of the best, progmetal!! your the man chuck and you always willl be in our fondest memories! thank goodness for death!

  • Shannon guitar it's wrongly tunned i think, cuz the solo it's right, just don't fits well with the rythm

  • Easy the best death metal band ever!

  • @lattjolajan they are good and set the path for death metal they are thrash not death metal

  • @dstncowles they are absolutly not thrash, but if you want to get picky about it, they were progressiv metal or experimental metal on this album! Since they defined death metal with scream bloody gore and leprosy they can't be anything else on those album! However, after those albums they moved on to create a more progressive sound! If you think all these modern "death metal" band define death metal then you're simply wrong!

  • @dstncowles Possesed and Death were the first bands to be labeled death metal and the obituary, entombed etc developed the sound. Further on, the longer in time you get from when death metal was born it gets less death metal (it's maybe more brutal butt still...)! Cheers!

  • its funny... you know chuck is playing the solo because all of a sudden.. the lead and the rhythm coexist and sound great...

  • If they ever invent a machine to bring people back to life, Chuck's the first person I want to come back.

  • Fuck..... that solo makes me jizz my pants each time i hear it.

  • music, even death metal, shouldnt be just about being "brutal" or playing fast shit to make the world kiss your ass, thats the cheapest thing on earth, music is about creativity and giving something more than just sound, check some interviews on Chucks website in one he even states that his vocal style was a limitation becuse he wanted to take hes music FURTHER..

LONG LIVE CHUCK!!!! LONG LIVE DEATH!!!!!

  • death was (or is) the greatest band in the death metal scene because Chuck Schuldiner wasnt just a metal player he was a muscician, thats why through the existence of the band he was more worried about making propositive and evolving music rather than just to sound heavier to be "brutal" or shit, like this so called "technical" or "deathcore" bands that go around saying that they play the most advanced music PLEASE!!! they just play sweeps and fast drumming and thats it

  • not as good without steve digorgio...

  • most epic intro ever!

  • rip the godfather of death metal

  • Yeah, Shannon Hamm sucks, ruined all solos

  • god i cant believe he is gone he has influenced my playing so much the spirtual healing album touched me in a way no album ever had i just got without judgement what we would do tattoeed on my arm his lyrics just made me appreciate the life i was given oh and plus death is the heaviest fuckin metal band of all time he always played in a standard tuning he didnt decide to be like every other fag band and drop tune for one finger power chords

  • This is so good!

    Death! <3

    R.I.P Chuck!

  • Fuck I wish I could have seen him live... But i was about 3 when this was filmed.

  • Same here man.

  • @CriesOfThePast522 dont we all man, dont we all.

  • @CriesOfThePast522 are you that kid who is like 12 but plays necrophagist and death really good? i think iv seen ur videos

  • @CriesOfThePast522 I was one lol.

  • @CriesOfThePast522 I was 8, not much of a Death fan then tbh but huge now and wish I could've seen them live, anyone who did are lucky motherfuckers, damn why couldn't I have been a Death Metal fan when these guys were around :( not fair, most important music subculture to me and its being ruined by crappy bands now :( ahh well we'll have these classics to listen to and I'll be listening to them until I'm dying let me tell you that

  • @CriesOfThePast522 I was 4

  • @CriesOfThePast522 I feel ya, its hard being 16 knowing years later you cant see a LEGEND

  • @CriesOfThePast522 Me too....:(....

  • @CriesOfThePast522 I was a tender young lad of nine when this was shot. Christ, I was still arguing about the comparative merits of NSync versus The Backstreet Boys! What an idiot I was!
