@tonitonichopper it doesn't have to have the same characters in it for it to be the same. If you played the first one, then you would know that this is a prequel to the series. Also it does have Eureka cuz she appears in the cut scene in the end flying the Nirvash. Also it's said to be in a parallel universe to that of Eureka Seven so of course the storyline is different. It's kinda like the situation of the Movie contrasted to the Series. Still all of them are great!

these are the characters that help setup the eureka 7 storyline that we all now and love so much. "that guy" as you mentioned is the same man that delivered the Nirvash TypeZero to Holland and Eureka in the first place and went underground after that.
meh, too used to having Eureka and Renton around, but MoonDoggie being there didnt make any sence according to the story line of the show, unless they were showing the progression of two different factions (or somtm).

ovbiously. You see Moondoggie, then there is Holland and Dominic in the old uniforms...you guys didn't look at it close enough. It seems Gekko state was something else with Moondoggie in it before it became what it is in E7.
i thought moondoggie was a new member to gekkostate? so why would he join GekkoState when it just started? since 3 years ago they stole the aircraft from the military.
I was wondering that too. Moondoggie is the last member to join Gekko before Renton but he seems to a major player with the people who started Gekko state according to this game. This is the first one out of 3 games.
I don't know if you know this but the game ain't supposed to have those 2 in the game, those 2 appear both in the anime and the manga, they also have their own game, but on this game, you get to play a diff. protagonist, and for me, this is actually a bit better than the original, well, in terms of romance, yes, but nothing beats the original.
