When i was a kid i watched SMTV:LIVE on a Saturday morning, when that stopped i watched Dick and Dom in da bungalow and then i started watching The Ministry of Mayhem... now... there is no such thing as good Saturday morning TV... Kids these days really are missing out =/

Saturday Night Takeaway hasn't been dropped, Ant & Dec have officially said they are just giving it a rest while they work on new projects.

I wouldn't say it was the ''true end'' to saturday morning tv as BBC done a decent job with the saturday show and dick and dom. Saturday show was crap last series and TMi was only good first series. Although I'd probably agree that it is near dead now.

I have seen them and they were crap

First series of TMI was great but the second series was crap

Ministry Of Mayhem was the only great programme around at the time and still is great

Nothing can beat it the same with Live and Kicking and SMTV

How can the fist series of a show be great but fall to crap the next series? I know series can drop or rise in quality between series but no series ever goes from great to crap instantly

Not by THAT much. OK, they moved from Liecester Square and they cut the length in half and dropped Chinatown Challenge and introduced the friend thingy but it was the same people working on it and they only dropped the phone-ins cos they had to

I miss this show so much. It was the only good Saturday morning show. Until they changed the format to Saturday Showdown which was awful. I'm not surprised it got axed after that.

Cut backs probably. They did a lot of cut backs on kids TV morning shows. Now CBBC instead of having a huge studio, have like one corner of a room ¬_¬
