Just saying, this video has nothing to do with the lyrics at all. The song is about not wanting to be alone even though the person you are with makes you feel like you are alone to begin with. It's about a real person and real events. Would have made more sense if the guy woke up to find himself alone, and if the subject was running through an arctic environment instead of filming this where you lived.

However, props to the video editing it's well done. Just don't try to write screenplays.

The song and band are awesome beyond words, but I disagree with Evan. Who cares if this thing has the best sound quality of all the other posted Ra videos. I don't understand how this video can be official unless the band, Ra, commissioned it. Not to mention the video is weak at best. The entire plot makes no sense.... he's dreaming that he's a stranded soldier trying to get back to his wife, but he wakes up and it's just a dream? It even doesn't have anything to do with the lyrics of the song.

lol... the singer, "r0ckg0d", for the band called, "2012" edited this video... ANd to top off things off... it was his 1st ever VIDEO he edited. Got to give him him props for that... ANd one more thing... RA had a music video contest for this song in JANUARY of 2008. That's why the video was made with a ZERO budget. So reason why it's the official video and it's not MTV standards is because their was no money put towards it and it was the best made at the time and won the contest.

Listen to the LYRICS again.... The man is lost in the desert trying to get back to his women but can't cuz she's just a mirage (hence "WHY DON'T YOU TALK TO ME")... then at the end he wakes up to see and find out its just a bad dream... Goes perfect too with the whole fact that there are alot of people over seas and they're tours end up going 15 months at times... Just giving back the love to our soldiers that do so much and don't get enough credit for what they do

I don't know about you guys but I think that this video is just some shoddy photography with a sound clip added. I personally think that the whole "OFFICIAL VIDEO" statement is BS just to get people to look at the video. We are a very BROKE film company lol but when RA had the competition to make a music video the beginning of the year ours was the best that was done. We planned out the whole thing on a $0 budget and actually didn't even have the "r0ckg0d productions ltd." license until April of this year. With the whole Egyptian themed Sun-God (RA) and the never ending war that's constantly being fought over seas, we thought it'd be the PERFECT 1st video to relate to for in the desert and the marine uniform.

Ra was pretty big when they released their albums From One and Duality especially "Do You Call My Name" which hit #15 in the top 100 Mainstream Rock Songs. The thing is though, their record company went out on them and they went underground. I must say, Black Sun was an amazing album, but their newest Black Sheep wasn't that great. =/

I don't know... I think the military shots were done pretty well. If you watch the end it was just a dream he was having so it makes sense to have the desert look the way it does instead of DUNES. Dreams are meant to be misleading and aren't always explainable. Anyways overall, good job on the video!! don't stop bringing them out
