Take 6 never realized their identity whether they wanted to go pure acapella or get more popish. In the end, the lack of original songs is what did them in. But without Take 6 there would be no Boyz II Men. Or at least the entrance of Boyz II men would not have been as simple. But Boyz II Men created their identity and ran with it and hence why Boyz II men is the most successful male group of all time.
Take 6 is GOSPEL..and has always been that is why they are not more famous...they did different styles, but all there music is Christian orientated which does not bode well with POPULAR culture..if they were R & B , they would have been the best...and we would be having a different conversation. Respect the anthem. Perform the anthem in the original key. Do not play it in different version ( pop, rock, jazz, instrumental, etc. ). By doing it so, you may think you are trying to be creative with your song, unknowingly it will just degrade the patriotism and the honor of the national antheme on its country. I have to disagree because as long as you do the anthem justice it truly does not matter how you present it as long as true feeling is put into it. Especially putting your own thoughts, time and energy into changing it into a positive new spin shows more patriotism and true love for your country than singing it like any other bloke on the street. You know I would agree with you to some degree...but the reality is, that some people are truly blessed and are born with the ability to feel, play and breath music without any formal training...now that's a fact...I adore Take 6 and I understand music
theory, but I have relatives that could play by hear, what I had to study to learn.

B2M are Secular R&B Artist, the release their music in pop charts Woldwide, where as Take ^ (didn't sell out and dedicated their talents 2 the Lord) are Gospel/ Accapella Artist, (who have their own labble, might I add) Are a more successfull group and have acheived levels of Greatness that B2M could only sit and Watch!

biim own there own label, they always dedicate their success to God(after every performance and on every cd) and if u ask and iv talkd to many vocal coaches and producers all genres aside 90% have said biim is by far the most vocally sound group ever. also the versatility uv there voices is unmatched. Just cause a group aspires to be like another does not mean that they cant surpass that group.i like take 6 but really to me and most of the people iv talked 2 in and out uv music

Awesome stuff! They sound outstanding - it kinda pissed me off to see that people talk through the National Anthem, though. Have a little respect for the country, and especially when it is represented so outstandingly from these talented men. I wish there was a more powerful video of them that was professionally recorded.
