He didn't actually. His son loved Guns N' Roses and had them cast in this movie as a cameo and for this song to be used too. Guns N' Roses were screwed over by them actually. They lended 'Welcome to the Jungle' to them and Clint shot the boombox playing it, which signaled that Guns N' Roses was as bad as the criminal scum he was hunting in the movie. Gn'R wasn't to happy about it.
