@navigris Hola que tal, lo que sucede es, que utiliza intervalos en ocaciones, no el acorde completo y éso hace que el modo de bajo o bajeo, se haga variado, pero es el estilo original de el GW-8, yo lo uso y suena igual, espero y te sirva la información, saludos.

This particular video almost sold me on buying one of these. However, I actually bought a GW-7 on Ebay for less than half of what a new GW-8 would cost, so I never actually bought a GW-8.

It's sound like a toy, piano it's good, it'a made in china and when playing note r pichting out from the scale because of poor electronic parts beleve me Hihats r the worst I ever seen, I got Xp 60. N Yamaha S 900, N ak a roland lover becoz of it's tones gives a good depth, but this maschine build with so many mistakes, when programming a style, u cant change the drum kit in variations and only gives one chanel for drums where as Yamaha gives two,roland should visit da china factory, poor parts

The Sound Engine is coming from Fantom X, sonic cell and SRX-09, 128 poly, has analog controls fully arranger functions, all under 900 bucks, Screen is not great, there is not built in style editor, I use sonar for it, usb player feature (mp3, wav, aiff and midi) is great, US version comes with the greatest latin styles and voices ever released since GEM WK6 latino edition, the piano patches are simply outstanding, just look for George kaye opinion on synthzone forum.

Did anyone notice they recycled the GW-8 and showed it at NAMM 09? There's a new arranger called the Roland Prelude.., it's the GW-8 with built in speakers. However, here's the catch...., it has built in speakers, build quality is for the home player, no analogue modify, and another feature or two missing. Roland then goes and charges MORE for the Prelude. It's supposed to sell for almost $1,000 and does LESS than the GW-8... Interesting how they always screw the home players in prices huh?

Im about to buy an arranger, and im in doubt about Gw8 and korg pa-500 anyone knows about two keybs, how is the sound comparation, programing, and styles what could be the best choice!? GW or Pa?!...

Pa500 is a better arranger keyboard. It has more features and you can create styles on it. GW cannot create styles but has a software for the job. I think GW has a better sq because it is derived from fantom-x series. Generally speaking, Korg was always strong on features while Roland was strong on sound. I have the same doubt. Pa is also a better workstation because its sequencer is full featured. On the other hand, GW is straightforward and easy and it is a good beginning point.
