Also meiner Meinung sind Österreich (mit Südtirol) und Deutschland kulturell enger miteinander verwurzelt als irgend ein anderes Land auf der Welt, mit Ausnahme der Koreanischen Halbinsel vielleicht. Man spricht ja nicht die gleiche Sprache, bzw. teilt einen Grossteil seiner Geschichte, wenn man nicht ethnisch gleich ist. Also Bayern und Österreich ähneln sich sicher mehr wie Togo und Argentinien.

In einer gewissen Art und Weise hast schon recht. Ich als Österreicher kann mich mit den Süddeutschen (Bayern und auch Schwaben) identifizieren aber mit den Preußen sehe ich bis auch die gemeinsame Sprache und der "europäischen Grundkultur" nicht viel gemeinsam. Ich würd sogar behaupten dass die Engländer sich mit den Preußen mehr ähneln als mit uns.
