Very interesting! I have cattails all around my lake and I hate them. (They get in the way of my fishing from the bank) Anyway, I love to see uses for native plants. The only thing I ever knew to do with a dry cattail was to bonk my sisters on the head and cover them with that fluff. It was pretty funny, still is actually....
