From what I understand, Corey injured his voice pretty badly around the time of this show. I think It's pretty bad ass of him to keep going regardless of the pain. With time his voice will continue to heal.

All good smashing bands make that mistake, and after some albums they go to get a more fans, but they forget, that the best thing in their music is the shitting about the trends, and popularity. But the irony of the fate is, that the metal bands, wich start to make this, are sentences to death.
It´s not about money it´s about a new style. I recently saw an interview with Corey and he wasn´t happy at all with Iowa cause it wasn´t as unique as the first album was. I mean there is barely any scratches or samples in Iowa compered to Slipknot. He joined Slipknot cause he wanted to do something different from Stone Sour. Iowa was just another brutal metal album and Corey wanted a new style of music. I think thats why All hope is Gone sounds so very different.

SOAD-Hypnotize,Mezmerize Limp Bizkit-Results May Vary, Papa Roach-Love hate tragedy etc. all was shit, and after these albums these bands are disappeared, and lost their crowd, didnt gain it.
i love slipknot but ive seen all the vids from this concert and it looked like a crap show for slipknot. it mustve been at the dead end of their tour because coreys voice is fucked here
whats wrong with coreys voice? hes supposed to sound like he is in some deep pain here. go read what he said about the origin of this song, you will understand.

I have to disagree with you...I think All Hope Is Gone is a great career choice for them.
They are now able to market to a brand new crowd of people WITHOUt sacrificing a lick of aggression.

Every single Slipknot Album is a bit different to the others. I think "All hope is gone" is almost better then "Subliminal Verses"
But i like all of Slipknots Albums and...be serious: Slipknots Music cannot be called "commercial" anyway :-)
