The iPhone 2G was insanely amazing when it came out, and nobody can say shit against that. I personally bought one before it even came to my country, and I absolutely loved it. Then year after year Apple repackaged the same thing, ramped up prices and milked consumers for their money. Apple hasn't revolutionized shit since the original iPhone.

I think the most revolutionising iPhone was the iPhone 4. When the 2G came out, it was too expensive to be a big hit...that was the situation in Germany like...today, every 5th person got an iPhone...carriers are throwing them out of their windows..

I have the 4s and I love the thing. The iPhone was and still is an amazing innovation. Between the 4 and the original iPhone, I think that the original was more ground breaking and innovative. The 4 is amazing, but it isn't any more than an improvement from the original. Essentially the next innovative thing for the iPhone or for apple for that matter, will have to be more than just an improvement from what already existed. It will have to be a new idea that changes everything in the industry.

iPhone has changed my life. I like the fact that if I want to really see how the original revolutionary iPhone is, compared to my 4S, all I need to do is make a back-up of my current iPhone and restore from back-up on the original. I'd like to do that, it would be interesting. iPhone 4S is nothing short of stunning. Thanks for the interesting comparison.
