well actually not thousands of years, for a very long time it was illegal and stricken from record that men belly danced, but it's coming back and most of the men who do it end up looking like cross dressers where here he just looks like a guy belly dancing, this is the first male performance i've seen where i was really entranced and enjoyed it.

I have to say, and I mean no offense (i have two very good friends that are male bellydancers), but this is the only male bellydancer I have seen that does not look flaming! He actually looked extremely masculine and pulled off some great moves - They could have been a husband-wife team - ha ha, bellydance ballroom sets anyone? :)
