Solarwing hanggliders from the 90s tend to be rock solid in pitch and tracking at speed but a little too stable in roll comared to the kiss/ K4 etc but rumours inspire confidence in the rough stuff...I put 800 hours on the rumour 1 in this video still got it and its airworthy too......Cheers Mike H.
Some interesting facts there... but after a video I saw online of a similar cable 'snapping' away from a microlight made me feel uneased about this sport.... However it looks fantastic and I want to try it!
Help me, I miss hang gliding. I flew back in the late 70's with a standard 16 then a cirrus 3. Then ultralights and now an incredibly boring airplane. (I can however fly to Napa Valley for lunch).. I miss hang gliding.... thanks for the memories.
Why is he in a cocoon?

Thin cable is TWO 1800 Lb breaking strain nylon webbing straps connected with a 3000Kg steel carabiner.
I would have to pull 50G to break them! HangGlider would fold at around 8G........
