We saw Xanadu in late April of 2008; it was bloody brillant and so funny. Great cast all, but the surprise for these Oklahomans was: Kyle Dean Massey who played 4 different back-up parts. We knew him not and he was Great. Greatest remake of a mess of a movie, for Broadway, Musical Comedy at it very best.
I know they adapted the movie, but the style of the music is too much 80's for me, it's like grease or chorus line, it's just not for me. But I'm not saying it's bad at all, it's just not my beach.

it's just from me, or this play sounds so much of 80's?

@princepeterwolf Did you listen at all? They took the 80's Movie Xandu and rewrote it for Broadway.

Oh, my appologies, I finally saw Kyle Dean Massey. That's what I get for trying to watch this at work.
