theres no question that the saturday sabbath is very important to God. what confuses me is that i've gone to churches on saturday and sunday and i haven't experienced any more rest by going to church on saturday than sunday. its all about resting on the sabbath, so going to church doesn't really matter as a matter of fact it can be more stressful to go to church on saturday than doing whatever else brings you joy an peace and rest.

Thanks for your comment but Acts 20:6-7 is not talking about Sabbath keeping. This meeting was held till saturday night which explains the fact the they continued until the morning. Remember that the day begins at sunset and they did not meet at sunset.

The Sabbath goes alot further than just church attendance. It goes very deep. I can let you know in depth if you like so it is more clearer

Your logic is flawed. The apostles followed the mosiac calander. Days were dictated by sun up to sundown. A change in night would thus imply a change in day. Acts 20:6,7. This is historical fact. My friend it is all well and good leaving a Bible verse to explain a point but don't add out of context verses like saying if we deny this we deny Christ because that is unbiblical.

Read the context of the verse. What was the issue? The Pharisees saying that Christ is not keeping the Sabbath because He healed. So you can understand that when John said as Christ broke the Sabbath, it was based on the mindset on the Pharisees.

it says "HE DID BRAKE THE SABBATH"

just like it doesn't say that "HE was accused of saying that God was His Father"

Psalm 78:34 When God killed some of them, the rest finally sought him. They repented and turned to God.

We see examples like you mentioned with God telling the Israelites to destroy the people on Sinai as of their idolatry. First of all my friend you are not saved by works, you are saved by grace. Jesus said to Nichodemus, John 3:3 "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." My Friend the Sabbath is just a blessing when you are saved, its not a challenge or a burdden. Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." God is wise in knowing the only way man can get to know him is to spend time with him. I hope this helps.

On the seventh day God rested and Hallowed it. It is the only day in the Bible that he hallowed. I believe that since Adam and Eve walked with God in the Garden that there line of communication was so close that they knew God commandments (it was written on there hearts).

Now as a Sabbath keeper for the past decade and a half it is a blessing to be able to keep all ten commandment. But just like any other commandment you can sin in your mind against God such as thinking about money on the Sabb

The biggest thing to realize is that when the bible speaks of the seventh day it says God rested, it doesn't say Adam and eve rested too...and no where else in the bible do we see anyone before Moses keeping the sabbath...rather the scriptures tell us that it was revealed to Moses.

The sabbath is not like the murder or stealing command in which you know that if someone does it to you you'll be hurt, doesn't take anyone telling you that it will, it's there in thought already.

The sabbath is not one of the things that you know automatically...kids however know automatically that they've been wronged when someone takes their toy(steals from them). A man or woman gets hurt when their spouse sleeps with another.

These things are written in them in their conscience the same thing adam and eve received when they ate the fruit. The sabbath however has to be shared, like any other special holiday, or special day...It's not something man knows from childhood.

The first four commandments are between you and God the other 6 are between you and man. Also notice that the 4th commandment is the only one that starts out with the word remember. Its because He knew we would forget.

ALso God wrote the ten commandments with His own hand. The only reason He had to write down the ten commandments is because after the flood we started to forget His character that is his word. Who is to say that they didnt keep the 4th commandment?

The laws that were given to moses (not talking about the ten commandments) were laws to be placed to help guide them because they were still "babies" spiritually and remember the person that got stoned for picking up sticks on the Sabbath? I think before we go on and discuss anything any further I must say that if you don't believe that the ten commandments are real and God actually wrote what it saids in Exodus then we can not discuss any further.
