@1231231231100 Seems impossible for that to happen :/ (spoilers) with the mass relays gone, the entire galaxy is boned until new ones can be made(probably millions of years). All the other races can't even go home anymore after they flew to defend earth. The entire crew is stranded on god knows where, so they won't be coming back any time soon. Mass effect can't go on without mass relays.

***SPOILER*** This song fits how I feel about the game perfectly. Such a great game (the writing got a bit iffy), but then the last 5 minutes just dive-bombed, absolutely plummeted. You had me Bioware! Anderson died by my side and I was about to cry my eyes out has the Reapers were destroyed, but then PLOT TWIST. -.- Such a damn shame.

@TheGreeneyes166 I think people are more upset by the fact that the the decisions they've made over three games ended up having no impact on the ending whatsoever. In ME1 and ME2, you get paragon and renegade endings depending on your choices. In ME3, they mean absolutely nothing in the end.

That, plus the fact that ME2 strongly implied that Harbinger would play an important role. Instead of an epic confrontation with him, we get a crappy deus ex machina plot device ending.

@BiologicalClock Just repeating what you already said, but most people have been playing since ME1 and they have been there watching Shepard grow as a character, along with companions and Love interest, shaping each Mass Effect game due to their actions and choices. It just seems weak that they let Shepard die like that after coming so far.. Everyone wanted him to live on where everything would continue the way it is..

@koutsy01 I wouldn't have even minded having Shepard die at the end, so long as it was well done and made sense within the Mass Effect universe. This just...didn't. It felt like it was tacked on and went against the whole "your actions will determine everything" aspect that the series is known for. Actions played absolutely no part in the ending, making all of the sacrifices and hard work throughout the game completely pointless.

I finally downloaded the M3 demo last night, let me just be one of the many to say:

WOW.

I won't give anything away (not that it really matters) but... There is a powerfully moving scene where this soundtrack comes in, the child, the reaper, the explosion.

I had mixed feelings afterwards... A shot of adrenaline ran up my back and I blinked a tear away - No game, not since gears of war 3's death scene with Dom or Halo 3's memorial ending for the chief has moved me so.

Bravo Bioware, I cant wait.

Everyone gets affected and no one is immune. To think that only late teens and adults will die in this galaxy wide war is ludacris. Kids will die too especially if entire cities are being destroyed. Don't get me wrong though, after I saw that scene I was ready to take them all on!
