The former lets call 'Zombie' and the latter lets call 'Spiritual being'. If you put these two next to eachother, could you tell which had consciousness and which did not? Would there be any tell tale signs of consciousness in their behavior?

What part of intelligence requires awareness? Does Consciousness have to exist for a brain to function perfectly?

People who try to create AI define strong AI to be that which can appear to be as intelligent as humans... Whether it has consciousness or not is not their problem, but merely an interesting thought.

But I think it is a problem indeed.

What if the human brain is perfectly intelligent on its own.. without a consciousness it still runs fine but in a det
