What kind of motors do they use to do that task? A stepper overheat after some time at high speed, right?

@molinobeer - often there are two motors in play, a low-end torque motor engages the spindle when it needs to produce non-lathe features.

awesome cnc maschine,germans had allways the best engeenering,lots of country works on din system like croatia and some other europeian countrys
