This is the Copeland Road Prison on Highway 29 about 20 miles north of Everglades City Florida. I am from the Everglades and know for a fact this is a minimum security work camp where the inmates are less than 12 months away fro release and are sent here to work on clean up details, road side brigades, and numerous other jobs in Everglades City. Not calling anyone out, but the cleared land on this plot is only about 350 yards by 200 yards. Hardly suitable for anything other than maybe a thousand people. The image on Google Earth was last updated in January 2010 (4 months after this video was uploaded). This is the Copeland Road Prison on Highway 29 about 20 miles north of Everglades City Florida. I am from the Everglades and know for a fact this is a minimum security work camp where the inmates are less than 12 months away fro release and are sent here to work on clean up details, road side brigades, and numerous other jobs in Everglades City. This place may hold 50 - 75 people max because it's so small. FEMA camp? I doubt it!!!

I'm assuming this was a county jail. Is it possible that FL is renovating to open a new State Penitentiary? Nearly every state has overcrowded prisons. Hell, CA just let a few hundred thousand prisoners go early, because they didn't have room. Personally, I feel they should follow Joe Arapaio and build tent prisons before they let criminals out. The fence is maintained to keep people from exploring the place and getting injured and attempting to hold the property owner liable, it is to keep people from tagging the buildings with spray-paint, to keep homeless people from camping there. You said yourself it is an abandoned prison, why would it be suspect for law enforcement to train in a place like that. And the property owner has no obligation to lease the use of his property so you can play airsoft with your buddies.

Not calling anyone out, but the cleared land on this plot is only about 350 yards by 200 yards. Hardly suitable for anything other than maybe a thousand people. The image on Google Earth was last updated in January 2010 (4 months after this video was uploaded). While I believe FEMA camps are real, I have a hard time believing this facility is for anything other than training or a potential death camp IF they build rail lines to it.

Now the new Amero will be only used electronically. This is when ppl will be forced to to have a chip implanted into their skull or right hand. Just making a joke. Near my job some Christian group put up billboards claiming the Rapture is going to happen on May 21st 2011. The Rapture is when all the "good" Christians get beamed up to heaven a la Star Trek, leaving the rest of us poor slobs to fight for or against satan. At some point Jesus returns and kicks major ass for seven years followed by a 1000 years of peace and the last judgement, d'oh! its been predicted 100's of times before and like Y2K, nothing's gonna happen.

I KNOW that isnt whats happening, they said it was closed for good in 2002. it was built in the early 50s and is very out of date and not up to date at all. The state of FL leases it out to the land owner...or something along those lines.
