You have a horrible mic echo, I hope you isolated or synchronized that at some point in the walkthrough. I miss how, in the OVA, Reine pwns Lloyd with a piece of chalk for falling asleep. I thought that might be the tutorial for the battle engine :)

@chronexia maybe my guys are 250, I haven't played since I was 13. And you get angry really easily, poor you. And i wanted to watch a walkthrough cuz i was nastolgic and lost the game 4 years ago after I leant it to my sister so she can play my favorite game. And either way you get 1000 grade for beating the game and about 400-800 more depending on your performance. Also the grade you always keep it, you can't actually spend it and lose it. You always keep all your grade points

The first one is as you say Tales of Phantasia, however the second is Tales of Destiny. Fallowed by Tales of Eternia, then Tales of Destiny 2 and THEN Tales of Symphonia. That is without mentioning the Narikiri Dongeon on Game boy and Game boy advance.

You can tell that by the tree's name at the end of Symphonia, they retook the same in Phantasia and its a full grown tree so you can tell many thousand years happened in between. I was exaggerating how much I cared. As in, I actually enjoyed myself, but there was something that bothered me. I apologize that I didn't realize that you were the one that made it, and that I misread your reply by giving it a tone that really bothered me, but my stance is the same. When someone states their thoughts, and specifically states that it is their thoughts, you're supposed to accept that they think differently than you, not tell them to leave.
When I bought this game, I bought it used and only had the first disk. So after I played through that, it was years before I found a game with the second disk. And as soon as I put that disk in, BEST MOMENT OF THE GAME in my opinion. So it's recommended that you buy both disks, if you can.

@marquise02119 yes story does continue on Disc 2. Though i switch to disc 2 at part 109 i believe... and the walkthrough ends at 125 so... its not much on disk 2 really.

Best tales game to date. Not only an amazing storyline but good gameplay to keep you hooked in. When you said you beat this 14 times i kinda laughed and thought "ehh he could have probably beat it more if he tried." This is the only game im willing to beat more than 3 times. Even though like I wish the plot twists would surprise me like they first did =/

Bosses are done on mania until a certain point then everything is done on normal. I know i can win on mania, this is a walkthrough for people so i go as fast as i can. and Normal is faster then mania for battles.
You need to be at least level 20 or so with Lloyd, have used Demon fang at least 50 times, be in Technical (if you're in Strike you'll get Fierce Demon Fang) if you already have Fierce demon fang, forget it and put Lloyd in T. Once all of this is done, use Demon fang a few time and he'll learn it.
It's great to see another person who's such a fan of the Tales series, I'm really enjoying the walkthrough so far. And your commentary is actually really helpful, can't wait to see more! :)

@ForrestPresley you should go with Shining Force Exa or tales of the Abyss on PS2. Symphonia is good for the story and the gameplay but theres no love story involved.

Best tales game to date. Not only an amazing storyline but good gameplay to keep you hooked in. When you said you beat this 14 times i kinda laughed and thought "ehh he could have probably beat it more if he tried." This is the only game im willing to beat more than 3 times. Even though like I wish the plot twists would surprise me like they first did =/

aha i played this when i was a little kid with my mother and brother, i was young so i dont remeber much, thats why i am playing again, and gosh i forgot the meaning of things and yes thank you, you helped me very much
also the funny thingis when you talk (i love your voice by the way), i do that to with my brother when we play, i said the exact same thing when raine asked how we manage to sleep standing

@chronexia i have seen the beginning of this game on someones account but it wasn't technically a "walkthrough" since it was never finished i like the graphics their okay for a gamecube game and the battle system is really unique iv'e never seen anything like it where you can actually move on the battle field and attack

Its a matter of choice really the default is simple but i dont like. Personally i prefer
A -> Attack
B -> Block
X -> Techs
Y -> Menu
Z -> Unison Attack
R -> Change Target
But thats my setting just go with everything you're comfortable with ^^

I just hate people who can't see all the efforts that some peoples like you put into something really useful. This is not a movie it's a WALKTROUGH and it's just as logical as it is essential that someone need to talk, more they do, the better it is (well if it is interesting xD) So anyways nice job man keep those walkthrough up, you may have a lot of bad comments but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of people like me who really enjoy it ^-^

Bosses are done on mania until a certain point then everything is done on normal. I know i can win on mania, this is a walkthrough for people so i go as fast as i can. and Normal is faster then mania for battles.

You need to be at least level 20 or so with Lloyd, have used Demon fang at least 50 times, be in Technical (if you're in Strike you'll get Fierce Demon Fang) if you already have Fierce demon fang, forget it and put Lloyd in T. Once all of this is done, use Demon fang a few time and he'll learn it.
