I reckon that most people who say this looks boring play another MMO and think all other MMO's suck. You have to remember that this isn't high level game play with Task Forces or Raids or giant monsters because the person who made the video wasn't that level. The low levels of all MMO's are always boring (you can't say that WoW or CO is "fun" at the lower levels...).

@ArbiterHems Actually, CoX does have a tendency to be more fun in the lower levels in my opinion. Maybe it's the simplicity of the combat that I enjoy? I have no clue. But with Going Rogue's recent release the lower levels have gotten tenfold better as a Praetorian...

at what lvl do you get your travel powers

You need to pick a power from the travel u want by lvl 12 so you can get ur chosen power at lvl 14, and u can get temp flight packs and jump packs from doing bank missions lvl 5-9 & 10-14

Coh is awesome, my best mmo experience, better than wow or eq. Made a lot of good friends on there. Great player base, fantastic gameplay, costumes are great, travel powers rock, and now with ae leveling is easier.

Is there any diference between the different origins or is it just purely aesthetical ones?

Compared to what the original developers of City of Heroes had planned: No, not really. The only differences between the Origins are Enhancements, 'cantrip' attack powers, and for the Heroes some different starter Contacts.

Originally, if I am recalling correctly, Origin was going to play a much larger role in gameplay, but that was decided against to provide a more balanced playing field between power gamers and roleplayers.

you can fly once you get your second power thing at level 10 or 20 (cant remember) as far as i know all classes caqn fly

Its in a powerset of 4 pool powers. You choose one of the first two at level 6, then at level 14 you can choose the third power, which is the actual travel power. And yes Everyone can fly except a class called Warshades, they get a shape shifting form that has auto fly.

masterminds do not suck. its just that few builds have good synergy. ninja/dark mastery masterminds are great. you get a total of 7 pets as a master mind. 1st pet you get at level 1, 2nd pet you get at 6, then another at 12, then 18, then 26, then 32. and you get to summon more than 1 type of pet and it ends up being 7 pets.

no they are like the exact same thing exept on hero side(blue side) you can do a sewer team from about lvl 1 to 9 and on villian side (red side) you cant

mastervee is wrong. villains is the villain version. they are still integrated in that you can group with the opposite faction in certain places and can pvp each other, they both offer different worlds to level-up in.
