  • Harry Palmer cheated me out of tens of thousands, back when he was $cientology, in Elmira NY. His wife Avra pressured us into taking bank loans. When $cn learned he was delivering and charging for unauthorized services, he dumped them and "invented" Avatar. We his followers were ruined by bankruptcy, divorce, estrangement from our parents, children, friends, etc. You don't need Avatar, and run as far as you can from Harry Palmer. I still get nightmares about him, his wife and their greed.

  • Fascinating. I use the Avatar tools every day to take responsibility for the planet and support the revolution along with Anonymous. So many people create needless conflict outside of themselves. If we're to create a new world — we'll need the kind of people that Avatar creates, who can look deeply into their own consciousness, recognize and break through their patterns.

Be the change you want to be in the world. I am Avatar. I am Anonymous.

  • @jahshwa Except we aren't talking about Avatar the tools. We're talking about Avatar the cult and it's hippie version of Hubbard.

  • Parting with your money has nothing to do with Enlightenmnet. India's greatest masters gave their wisdom freely. The only fee was one's sincerity. If one is charging dollars for "Truth" then buyer beware.

  • WATCHOUT AVATAR IS A MINDCONTROL CULT!!! WATCHOUT THEY DESTROY YOUR LIFE

  • We will protect our friends from this cult as it attempts to grow in Japan. We will expose you for what you are a CULT. You exploit the weak who are in search of meaning and help. You bleed money from them. And you teach them lies.

No religion or faith of any kind can give you happiness. Only the individual has the ability to find true happiness. Stop the lies!! We will spread the truth about you as far and wide as possible!!!

  • I did the avatar course. It was very helpful to me. In the last years i heard many conspiracy theories in every direction. And there are people who blame avatar also. Before doing the course i was also confused by some theories. But the course was wonderful. You get a lot. I am very more selfconfident, less stressed and more succesful.

  • @honigdachsfan Good for you, but there are hundreds or thousands of ruined lives. Most don't even know therier lives are ruined, stuck in a happy stupor of how great things are while their family and friends are labeled unsupportive when they challenge their loss of free will and clear thinking.

  • I did the avatar course and it helped me a lot in my life. Many things changed to the better. I feel more compassionate and i can accept myself the way i am.

  • @honigdachsfan No one said people wouldn't have benefit, or else no one would do it at all. The problem is the hidden cost, deception and unawareness of manipulation.

  • It's a shame people who criticize Avatar don't really get it. They are looking through a belief system that all self-help organizations that are not mainstream are out to steal your money or your soul. Nobody is coerced to take the Avatar Course. It's right for small minds to hold on to their money if they value it more than enlightenment. I am a Wizards graduate and met my wife through Avatar over 10 years ago. Though we have carried on to learn many other things, Avatar was a huge blessing

  • @wfullilove - It's a shame people who see it for what it is "don't get it" in the culted mind. Or they are "being a victim." Or are against all self-help courses. Wrong tree, wrong church, wrong, pew.

  • @anonatar Hey I manifested a new car for free (no cost) a beautiful home by the ocean and money to spare. to travel the world. I love what I do to live. All after Avatar. But you know what that's all small potatoes compared to the level of happiness and joy I feel every day I am alive. My family is back together and I sleep well. Thanks Harry.

How come you "cult lurkers" don't report that also!! Before that I was homeless and a candidate for an early death!! All the best mate.

  • P5: Knowing what i do now i would happily have done without it. The state of bliss i was in at the end was just a natural high produced by the body in response to the trance inducing practices - no different from the effects of certain drugs. And i wouldn't call that enlightenment.

I did learn a few things, but rather about Avatar, than from it. I learned through observing their methods and researching the background.

Truth isn't always pretty, but it's the truth.

Link in video is eye opening!

  • P4: The very thing i liked about Avatar the most (useful tools / no belief systems) was all a big lie! It was all just about grooming participants into gradually accepting Harry's mental diarrhea dispensed as truth at the "secret upper levels" - after paying more money of course...

I can't believe i spent my hard earned money on this $#!ł... The only reason any of it did me any good was the fact that i understood and applied it through what i learned myself or through psychology beforehand...

  • P3: At first i believed it was a life changing experience. I felt like i could take on any problem, my confidence improved and i was "happy".

Imagine my surprise when i discovered where Avatar really came from and what the "secret upper levels" consisted of! Their own version of Scientology Space Opera and Body Thetans!?!

Even tho i was very interested in what the "Wizard Course" had to offer, i am GLAD i never attended it! If i did i would certainly get pissed off and demand my money back!

  • P2: Then i learned of the Avatar course and became fascinated with it. Unlike everything else i've seen before it appeared to offer tools for handling your own beliefs with the goal of self improvement, as opposed to feeding you random beliefs on a plate as most of new age does. This i liked. It wasn't a belief system, it was something i could relate to and actually use in my life!

And just as expected my first Avatar course was a blast! I left in a state of total bliss. But not for long...

  • P1: I am an ex Avatar student/master and would like to share a few things with those interested in this.

When i was 15 years old, i became literally obsessed with everything related to psychology but also spirituality (what i would now call the "New Age mumbo-jumbo"). But i didn't really like much of what this "spirituality" had to "offer". The vast majority of it was just stupid baseless beliefs, the only parts that really attracted me were the ones "borrowed" from psychology and philosophy...

  • the avatar materials are amazing ... and all this crap from this bad video is created by a soul that has done so many bad things , it can only perceive the world of avatar trough those bad eyes, and that is to bad

seriously , avatar saved my life , and i woke up to they gave me the tools to manage a better more fulfilled life

    Thank you avatar .

  • @rien515, thanks for the typical expected cult response. Why create stories about me? I know why. Scientology and other cults indoctrinate people like you to MAKE critics have to be evil. It's how you can avoid anything they don't want you to know. Sleep well in your righteous bliss but it's obvious from the outside you need help, not me. Heck, in your (Harry's) world criminals are innocent and it's the police that must have guilt and are the problem.

  • I recall this video while i was first doing the Avatar course and it honestly cast some doubts in my mind. However, as i believe that I possess enough of my own free will to draw my own conclusions and make my own decisions, i decided to follow the course through to completion. How lucky i am!

Avatar changed my life in the most amazing way and when i compare my life now to then, I am GRATEFUL TO GOD that i didn't allocate too much attention to this video.

Anonatar... may you be happy and well.

  • @hrastovica, thanks for a kind response. Don't take this the wrong way, but may you have free will instead of use techniques to create the 'experience' of free will. If you use what you are taught, you will experience what they who taught you want you to. It may be real meaningful to you and it always is in cults but your just buying a new set of walls you cant see.

  • anonatar: Thank you for caring about people enough to share information about Avatar with them.

To everyone: This video shows you a good perspective. Perhaps more than one perspective would balance out the information. I would encourage people who have any positive/negative curiosity about Avatar to talk to people who are involved with the courses and see if they report a similar experience.

  • Thanks for this video...I saw an avatar link online and I questioned it on youtube...Thanks! Anonymous! you saved the day! Sometimes I wonder how can these people not feel guilty ripping off so many and destroying their conciousness...Harry is no other than a psychopath...sociopath..he needs helps himself...tie him on all 4rs like a pig and do deprogramming. shove anti-psychotics down his throught to wake him the f up. Please post more vids...avatar flew below the radar.

  • Maybe you SHOULD forgive and forget. At least symbolically. Forgive by being able to love yourself as "more than a victim". Forget by "remebering how much more you are" than you could ever throw away or have stolen from you. No, I have nothing to do with Palmer. I gleaned some ideas on techniques of wizardry from his speech at a Wizard's Course, and saw a rehash of my own experiences and previous education in these matters, although, I saw that there is a slight insight gained from it.

  • Well, that's what we're here for. Funny how cult leaders always talk about not being cult-like. Tactical hypocrisy.

  • I did all the Avatar courses and equated the cost before going to be the same as a small japanese car.

After arriving home from the wizards course an old friend called me out of the blue and gave me "guess what"

A small Japanese car at no charge.

Since Avatar I am now back in the life of my kids and have forgiven my ex wife.

    PRICELESS.

  • I did a couple of their courses. Really great eye techniques for changing perceptions and beliefs. Unfortunately, your "mentors" will continuously try to push you to go to "take the next step" which involves going to the next course which goes up in price exponentially..... like it gets rediculous.

If there was an organization that was like this but not so money focussed I would be there.

  • @Ninjaboy8 Same situation myself. I'm a "master" and am resisting all pushes to do more courses. There is *plenty* to work on by myself or with friends without needing to feed into the organisation. If you want to learn more about the 'tools' without involvement with Star's Edge, check out Zen Buddhism and the Sedona Method - which is essentially where Harry Palmer ripped the Avatar materials from.

  • Sorry folks but if you want to know if I'm an "Avatar" it will only make the brainwashed dig in their heels no matter what I say. For more info, check my profile.

  • I just received and email inviting me to learn more about this Avatar thing. The email was from friends who I love and respect, however having been drawn into weird stuff at other points in my life I am very skeptical. I appreciate your video, although I do not know who you are and what bone you have to pick. I don't know what Avatar gets from it's members-MONEY?

  • Harry Palmer is the sole profiteer. Every Wizard course puts MILLIONS in his pocket with almost no expenses. The hotels are free by filling up rooms and most of the workers are "interns" who actually have to pay to be there PER STUDENT they bring.

He pretends he isn't making much profit. Once he claimed he had 2000 offices implying he paid the master's expenses. He also says he spends it on vague "international expansion"

Where? Everything in this MLM is the burden of Masters, not him.

  • Maybe I love Atari?

  • (This is OT)

Anontar, I started out on Ataris (CPU=6502c) and love them as well / can thank them for a future profession. :)

The speech synthesis software was called "SAM" IIRC, and it also existed on the Commodore-64 (CPU=6510).

My first "real" job was coding on a 65c816 (a 8/16bit variant of the 65xx).

In any case, I removed my comment. Excuse me! I had way too much fun with "SAM" to knock it ;-)

    Cheers!

  • my sister is now into this cult. she used to adhere to Christianity, neonazism, numerology, astrology, and I don't know what else. clearly, this is not a group for those who are able to evaluate reality accurately or who choose independent critical analysis of facts. fear drives this kind of garbage and I'm just backing off and waiting for a day when she snaps out of it and stops pouring her hard-earned money into the human toilet named "Harry Palmer".

  • Seek intervention from mental health professionals who have experience in exit counselling. Have a family sit down with them. Have her husband freeze their bank accounts before it's too late.

  • Thank you for the info. I live on the westcoast and she lives in the east, so it's been difficult figuring out the best way to handle this, but I'll do whatever it takes. Luckily, her mate isn't her husband and he is not part of the cult at this point. I really don't know what to do since she just will not listen to me, let alone take my advice, or see a therapist. I feel like I'd have to fly out there and actually do a stakeout from a hotel nearby for a month to have a chance. It's crazy.

  • Remind us when we're done with scientology. Seeems like a worthwile cause.

Meanwhile, help us fight scientology and the quicker they go down, the more this little cult will be tamed into submission.

  • Until then, just take the time to warn all your family and friends. Their numbers are crashing even though they are lied to constantly about that. Lets keep it that way.

  • Amen!

  • This video is crap, ther is littel value in attacking something that is helping so many people become more aware and happier in themselves.

  • That's what Scientologist say, and any other cult. "All the good they do" is just a belief to hide all the harm they've caused and all the people they control. If Avatar is so great, how come almost no good press or anyone OUTSIDE Avatar recommending them? No value, except in their own minds. At least they have fun pretending until the bills come due and the real world holds them accountable.

  • OHHHHHHHH dear, how sad- let people decide for themselves.

  • What a remarkeble point of view, calling Avatar a Cult and Palmer a conman. Why don't you post this with your voice undistorted, or are you afraid you'll be recognised? Tell us about your unfinished bussiness, what's really bothering you? grtz from NZ, robert

  • ^^^ Cult comment - brainwashed people assume there's something wrong with them to excuse what they say. "Unfinished business" "Bothering you" blah blah blah. They can't handle the truth so they handle the critic. Typical and sad as hell.
