My son is based in Japan with the ACU 5 as welder... Went to San Diago for Special Aluminum Welding Training and is returning in August.. I went down to Ca. and Filmed some awesome footage of the LCAC.... GREAT VIDEO.......Check out my LCAC Video's.....
Just got to ACU-5 like this week, comin from a grey hull CG-52. Man my ship mate here don't realize how well they have it here. Im greatfull to be here.
left ACU-5 in 90. didn't know how good it was til we were gone. Husband was on 2, 4 and another I can't recall. I was on shore. Oh, too be young again.
