  • Had to take the time to stop and say thank you for this video. I had planned to spend the weekend trying to figure out the many still picture tutorials that are out there. Stared at a couple of them for awhile. When I came across this tutorial you opened my "eyes" with your description of catching the eye. The shower curtain rings are wonderful!!! Thanks for posting. You saved me loads of time.

  • I've got a busy day ahead of me. I have to go make 500 youtube accounts just to like this video. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!

  • I was wondering where you can find neoprene? I have access to 3 BIG jewelry stores but they don't seem to have any in their database

  • Thank you so much for this video! I have been having a hard time learning this weave from picture tutorials and CG tutorials alike, but being able to really SEE what's going on helped immensely. The shower curtains rings are huge, so they work brilliantly for chainmaille tutorials!

  • Gods, thank you, sir! This was a real help... I looked at some picture-tutorials and they didn't show one important thing... the 'eye' for the next open ring. Now it makes sense and it is a lot easier.

  • Best tutorial ever! Love how you used the giant color "rings". Thanks so much :)

  • This is the best 3 in 1 tutorial I have ever seen and can't wait to try it. I have made a necklace in full persian and will obtain some neoprene rings to make a stretchy bracelet in 3 in 1

  • All I can do is repeat what everyone else is saying Genius!!!Big rings for little minds!!!LOL I was missing something from a diagram and you put it all together!

Thanks a Trillion ! (gotta go with the times) !LOL!

  • giant rings!!! now I see!!! :) thanks

  • nice idea with using giant rings.

  • This is a fantastic demonstration! The shower rings are brilliant! By chance is there a part 2 where you show how to connect the two ends of the weave together to have a consistent pattern?!

  • i love the curtain ring idea

  • HI! HighLands, I loved it! Before I met you this pattern was impossible for me but now It is clear! I´m from Argentina sorry for my English I´d like to know more about chains could you please send me another patterns. Thanks for your time, Congratulations your are a wonderful teacher. Thanks for all. Margaret mre@bmssrl.com

  • @meduards Hola, mi espanol es peor que tu ingles pero hay mas videos en mi canal de youtube y a cgmaille.com

  • I have thrown tons of rings on the floor over this weave. Until this video I was willing to give it up. Your video absolutely solved this newbie and probably tons of others, how this weave is put together. The big rings show where the hook up is after you get past the very beginning 3 rings. Thank you so much for a great video.

  • where do you get your neopyrene rings? Cool idea! Thanks for the very helpful tut!

  • thank you thank you iv read everything on the internet nothing demonstrates this weave, iv only just found chainmail, and im in love! plse have u a shower curtin lesson on the byzentine weave plse do dvds using the same tech fantastic thank you x

  • i think that was worse

  • Could you do one with the shower curtains for jens pind?

Thanks again for these awesome tutorials!

  • This was great! I love the use of shower curtain rings and it was an excellent way to demonstrate.

  • THANK YOU

  • Yet again another wonderful lesson. Thanks so much!

  • Thank you.. that was great!

  • I found that using 2 different colored rings (copper and silver for me) made this weave much easier to learn when first starting.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. It was difficult to learn using just diagrams.

  • I got the weave going and made a chain about 3 inches long put it down now I can't fucking figure out how to re start it!!!

  • I am not very into chainmail type things, but my cousin is so I decided to see what all the fuss was about. I would just like to say that this was a very well put together video and very informative. Good job "Highlandchains". Cheers to you.

  • omg thank you :)

  • wow thank you so much. I have been trying to figure out this weave for so long and have not been able to find a good tutorial until now and I just finished my first HP 3-1 bracelet! Thank you so much for your help. now i must try HP 4-1 !!!

  • Thanks you! Curtain rings, that's so smart! ^^

  • is there ANY chance you could now show us how to join the ends? I really want to do this and I just can't get it! thenks!

  • Oh, and the neoprene rings/stretchy idea is a really cool variation. Thanks so much!

  • Thanks so much for the great tutorial! Using the curtain rings is an inspired idea!

  • Thank you so much! All of my weaves I've had to learn on my own and it can take hours or days to get it right.
