@magermax000 i could care less about what the world is doing. the video quality is very good on the gl2 thats all i care about. and i got the camera or very cheap so im happy.
@bigd021191 As long as you like it... I still like mine too, but It's no hd camera. If you wanna check out my older longboarding videos, they were made with the GL2 as well.
you can't use usb to hook it up for video, and no I did not buy a dv cable for my GL2. I bought a Firewire 400 cable a couple of years ago to use with my crappy sony handycam. what editing software do you use? obviously not that advanced if you're trying to use USB to capture. Use final cut. It's the best out there.

Then, my Sledding with friends video is in HD, shot with the GL2, but when you watch it in Hd, the audio is out of sync. but check those out, and I can tell you how to export in 720p HD from Final Cut Express. I think your original source file just has to be in high quality. Idk. I export it from Final Cut for the web, and post it up here. :) Hollywood is a cool city. I LOVE it!!! My parents want me to stay close to home when I go to school, but I want to go to LACC and major in film . How are you liking it? It would be so cool working with film.
